  1. In fact, if I remember correctly you don't have to own one to post on this forum. There are several members on this forum who don't even own a Ford product and who post here.
  2. You do realize that your keyboard goes higher than 3. Did mom tell you?
  3. Help me, I have no response. A psychological state of denial. Dillusions of grandeur. Alcohol tends to dilute/mask current state of affairs. A fantasy?
  4. Personal, non-subjectal attacks are your specialty. By the way, in other topics you have been way off topic yourself, but if the Budweiser tells you its okay, then it must be.
  5. Come on now, you can do better than that. You don't really know me. Is that what the spirits in your keyboard are telling you?
  6. It's a typo. I would like to add that I do think you drink while posting which explains your often "out of the blue" and "inventive" hypothesis. Is it the "beer/wine/Jack Daniels" talking or really you?
  7. By the way, drug is not associated with any tense of the verb drag. www.dictionary.com
  8. These are much better spy shots. One thing for sure, that macaroni-patterned disguise does a good job of throwing your eyes off. I remember reading a report in one of the car magazines about the guy who is responsible for disguising pre-production autos. That is his entire job and his company is used by more than one auto manufacturer. That would be an interesting job.
  9. The bold is very nice. Its darker than the usual bold, yet relays your point rather effectively. Bravo!
  10. I'm not a Ford employee but I drive a Ford so if I have comments based on the "process" of Chapter 11 bankruptcy, am I not allowed to post here because I am not an employee? My brother is and my father was. Does that get me the keys to the message board? Are you the moderator? Do you want to be the moderator? Thank you for calling me a coward. Your use of capital letters was effective. You might use the Bold option for added dramatic effect.
  11. Are you aware that retail can also have a manufacturing component? It also has multiple layers.
  12. Who said it was an auto company? I was relaying an experience through Chapter 11 bankruptcy. It was in retail.
  13. Before the company I worked for declared bankruptcy protection, they evaluated critical vendors and used whatever money they had to ensure that they were paid up-to-date before the declaration. That way, they ensured a bit of a life-line when they came out of Chapter 11 - those companies were very willing to continue to do business.
  14. I've only been through the Canadian equivalent of Chapter 11 and that was in 1993. Everything ordered from vendors during the Chapter 11 period was pre-paid before shipping. No payment, no shipment. Also, some suppliers were so pissed off after Chapter 11 that they refused to do business again outside of Chapter 11. In the event that even an "orderly bankruptcy" is arranged, would the secured creditors not try to liquidate existing stock as quickly as possible to recoup as much as they can? Would this mean that a massive "fire sale" would happen? Also as part of the restructuring would GM be forced to close down even more brands than those recently proposed to the U.S. government?
  15. If all the Orderlies go bankrupt, who will help to move the patients?
  16. Wasn't the GT basically hand-built? The quantity of Fiesta's rolling down the line in 2 hours is greater than the entire run of the GT.
  17. I can't take anything Motor Trend says seriously when it comes to "of the year" awards even since they gave it to the '91 Chevy Caprice Classic.
  18. Isn't it also because when a car is launched, a certain amount of corporate resources are dedicated to ensuring that the rollout is successful? I rather it be right than rushed. The 2000 U.S. Focus came out fairly quickly after it was launched in Europe. The first year was full of recalls and the quality of materials was significantly lower than it's European counterpart.
  19. Actually, the whole GM sidesaddle gas tank issue lost steam because of Dateline NBC. They ran a story on it and fixed the results to try and prove there was an issue. Dateline NBC Test
  20. Are you Onslow from "Keeping up Appearances?"
  21. I think the console is ok. I don't see a 'We want to be Lexus' design in it (and it seems like everyone wants to be like Lexus lately). All in all, the interior is an improvement. I love the 5 speakers under the back window.
  22. The tailights look more expensive than the current model. I think the issue with the back end is the slope down to the bumper. The original concept had no slope - actually, it didn't even really have a bumper. All in all, it's nice change. Now if they would only make the current MKX look more like the Aviator Concept.
