  4. I actually talked with someone other than the tools around DTP, I am told that they are staying and will not be transfering back to AAI! I am sure they will be happy!

Maybe instead of psychology you should try and use some common sense or read exactly what the equity of sacrafice means! They get it back common sense says we get it back. If they would have gotten cola, guess what, yup you guessed it, the UAW would have asked for that back also. When you dont have a solution when you open your mouth, you are part of the problem. That is all we have at DTP is people opening their mouths saying nothing to help resolve the issues.   6. That is not true, everyone will be returning to AAI and then the reduction will happen. The reason why this will happen it will give those that do not have the seniority the option to sign for a permanent opening. If they don't have seniority to hold AAI permanently then they would be temporarily left at AAI and false sense of security, which would create a mess if they did not sign for a posting because they thought they had seniority to stay at AAI. Otherwise the temp assignment would be over and they would then be sitting on the street because they thought they had seniority to hold a job at AAI, even though they would have had seniority to hold a job at WAP. This is the reason that they will returned to AAI! That is no rumor, but truth!
  7. Wow, I heard the same thing at 600!! Do I know you stugots? I did talk to others who said the same thing. I hope so and as far as the grievance goes, as long as it isn't settled it is still in the process, so I don't understand what pick6 is saying? I am sure the company is going to drag this out in the grievance procedure. I heard that they (UAW) are making sure that they have all the info and facts to take it to an arbitrator, so sounds like that portion has not been settled which means it is still going through the grievance procedure process. Maybe you should pick up an agreement so that you would understand the process before opening your mouth. I would love to see this taken to an arbitrator and dispositioned in our favor. That means we would be able to dictate salaried compensation, I personally think that it is a long shot, but I commend the UAW for pursuing both issues seperately so that ETAP is not hung up waiting on an arbitrator. I am thinking of taking a couple classes summer!

  9. This is true for zones 1, 2 and 7 because they know LAP is retooling and MAP will more than likely put on a 3rd shift by 1st quarter of next yr.
  10. The company does not care if you take a move to Chicago, once you run out of sub and tap you are out without any pay or benefits. They are going to hire supplemental workers in your place at Chicagp if you do not choose to go. They are fine with that. You won't have the right to transfer later once you run out of sub and tap.
  11. Free vacation? What has been free in the last 5 years? They have been negotiating 6 different times in 5 years, in order to save our jobs! Nothing is perfect, but I have a job right now. I have a couple of family members that work for GM and Chrysler that are not so fortunate right now. I have one of them living with me and his 3 little kids. I am thankful for the UAW and there are a lot of others on this site that should be also. Vacation, what a thankless dumbass!
  12. What the phuck does that have to do with the convention? I signed a grievance that said the company violated the modifications, that grievance is still in the system. The convention will have nothing to do with a grievance that is currently active! I do agree that in 2011 the company better put their hand that is out looking for givebacks up their asses because it will be time to pay the piper beeeaaaatches! I think that Ford is that arogant that they will still have their hand out and we will STRIKE their asses!! Start saving my friends, it may be a month or so till they realize they aren't as bad off as the other 2 companies. Booo Hooo they didn't take the Gov bail out money, who gives a ,you have gained market share from the other 2 companies for not taking the money. It is you, Ford exec's, that say once you get someone into a Ford they will buy it. Well not taking the bail out money, because of the concession we gave your asses, got people into your vehicles. You show your appreciation by giving bonuses and Tuition assistance back to the salaried phucks. We will get you back for your dumbass moves in 2011. You should be paying down the debt, that way we can ALL benefit in the future, but no you want to use the debt as leverage against us middle class workers! Phuck you I say, there will be no Bail Out in 2011 so get your asses ready!

  18. They should be attending the meetings, otherwise they should be removed! As far as any expense money, they don't get that for attending the meetings, they get it for the travel to/from Regional meetings and other things that they do on their own time/dime! Has nothing to do with attendance at a meeting. If there is some who do not want to attend, put in a bi-law that will require them to attend or bring it up with the Chairman and President!!

  21. What would have been nice is if they would have just re-invested back into the company INCLUDING MOOOLOLLY'S 60M and paid down our debt, so that our next profit sharing could be in the 10's of thousands, but fk no the company doesn't want to do that. They want to keep the blue collar down!!

  23. Loui is correct, all auto companys want to pay workers $12. The UAW is the reason that they don't. Once organized, they will be making prevailing auto wages. First contract will probably be around $17, 18 and then wages/benefits will raise year over year. Then new thing however isn't hourly wage increases it will be by way of bonuses. Cheaper for company's! Lets hoe that they negotiate a BIG profit sharingh plan!! This will keep the company competitive and give the workers increases in salaries when the company is doing well. Can't wait till we get ours back.....Alan is getting ready to scrape in about 60Million on the extra stock options he is getting! We need to stick it to them fkers in 2011, just based on his fking salary!!! Give it back or lets walk!
