toyota might be more admired but their quality is going down the crapper, consumer reports does not recomend buying the tundra or the camry anymore and the milan and the fusion are a recomended buy along with the F150. they have surpassed toyota in quality. ford said they will be number 1 in quality in 2008 and they are making a good run at it.

my grandfahters was 214th off the line, they have enough zeros on the plate that they could make 10,000 or more.

and people say they are better, its time that people wake up and see that they are not better and start buying something thats the money is going to stay here.

bigfoot is in the major league of monster trucks which seems to be growing a little but i dont think it will be as good as monster jam.

whats going to happen is the democrats are going to run hillary or obama (however you spell it) and neither one of them are going to beat the repubs that are running. i was pushin for john edwards but he dont have corperate or lobiest backing because he is trying to do things right. i might not even vote for a president if these fools are all we have to choose from. this countries future does not look good at all, all the foregin stuff that people are buying here and jobs leaving, economy going down the drain. why can we have a person in office that wants to help out the american auto companies and get them back in gear. all they have to do is raise taxes and interest rates on foregin cars and people will stop buying them. its not lookin good at all.

the UAW contract here says something about a national call back list, what about you all?? ever hear anything about that??

exactly, this will be the most innovative truck on the market, ford has also upped the power in all the engins, diesel in 2010 and i ahve not heard about when the boss engin might be out. every panel on the truck has been touched, it was just supposed to be a front end and interior redesin and it turned out to be an almost total, the supercrew bad is larger along with the super cab, this is going to be a good thing for ford, just wait till all the specs come out.

the guy you quoted is telling the truth, so why are you defending a toyota on a ford site?? alot of the people on here are ford employees or members of a family of ford employees, so why dont you just slap them in the face more??

i will give you a hint, its the escape, dont let them fool you like they are alot of people, that car smells like rice when it pulls up next to you. i worked for a place for one day, pacific manufacturing, HUGE jap company that asymbles engin covers and foam parts for the camry and the tundra. ok, EVERYTHING in the place said made in japan on it, machinery, things to clean the floors with, all the parts in the place. even the upper management is from japan, there are not american employees till you get to middle to lower management, they cant hardly speak english. The metal they use over in the stamping side along with all the other machines, it also all comes from japan. no wonder that 93% of the sticker price of every toyota goes back to japan.

there was talks of a 60mpg F150 that would have the launch assist they were working on, i have heard nothing new.

It is a sad thing that plant is shutting down, look at all the jobs that are going to be affected not only there but down the line with all the places that plant gets parts from. my grandfather worked at Sharronville, ohio plant and i still know a few guys that work there, for a little while there they were worried cause it did not have a new product lined up for a while.

i am with this guy, they are not a better vehicle and just because you may have had one bad expireance or heard a bunch of stories dont ment crap. i have had several F150's that have never had to go back to the dealer for anything, i wish people in the country would weise up and think about where their money is going and actually care about it. and do give me that crap about them providing jobs, the jobs dont mean crap if they decide to pull out of the country, which they could do. not to mention how bad they treat their employees, atleast at toyota.

i dont know what you are thinking, the flex is a sweet vehicle and what i like is the optional fridge in it so i can keep my beer cold at the race track, lol
