I'm coming back from Saline on Monday, I just heard there was a couple of bids up, I'll ASK MY COMMITEE MAN monday morning, i didn't think of that!

A lot of chatter at Saline today about people going back to Wayne. Anyone hear anything definite?

So is MAP going to be up and running in January? I heard that it won't be ready until at least April.

any official word about a layoff yet? I'd like to plan a vacation for that week.

All WAP employees on temp. loan to Saline are returning in August. ISA temps at Saline will return to Assy. Damn!

Police depts. around the country are pissed because of the elimination of the Crown Victoria. I build the frames for the vehicle at DDMP, the heavy duty frames are built to safely recieve a 70 mph rear end collision. No other vehicle can preform like the Crown Vic. I think FMC is making a big mistake. Just my opinion.

If captain 723 is Jodey Dunn you are all mistaken on his character. He is a great guy who has done alot for the union. By no means is he a "Company man". I've seen him get into the face on alot of mgnt. as our plant chairman. They closed our plant so he was skilled enough to get a job with the iuaw. Who can blame him. Any one of us would do the same thing in his situation. If its not him than hey Jodey whats up!

You should have bid on a job when you had the opportunity instead of sitting on your ass collecting benefits. Everyone had a chance to go somewhere at one time, we chose to go to an assembly plant unlike some lazy asses. Now we reap the reward! Parts plants are where its at, gravy train all the way! Looks like you lost out! Move or lose.

I didn't spend the money F...head!

Transfers to saline got payed 80 hrs vac. pay for shut down. Home plant payed 40 hrs. , Saline also payed 40 hr. Now they say 40hr unpayed time voucher is the only way to rectify the screw up or you can fix the problem in up to 1 month by writing them a check for the full amount which has to sent to corp. payroll. These days who can go 1 month without a weeks pay. Tried to involve the union but to no avail. This is a bunch of BULLSHIT!
