  1. Where it asks if you're claiming those weeks, just click "No". We should be able to certify on Thursday of this week for the layoff week of 5/4.
  2. Ford National PPO has $20 office visits. When we had BCN they were $25; not sure if that's changed or not.
  3. I was given an almost identical list a month ago. Mine doesn't include the week of 8/11, but does include two weeks in October and one week in November. Obviously nothing is definite until it's confirmed. We'll see...
  4. Some schools are exempt from that law.
  5. I received the claim letter via MiWam @ the UIA website this morning. The letter says to certify the week of the 21st, but I was able to certify today. The UIA does contradict themselves: the website says to file a claim during the first week of layoff, but the man I spoke with yesterday said Ford would file this week (which they did). Just hoping this won't be a repeat of November's layoff.
  6. Just talked to UIA, they said if Ford hasn't filed the claim by Friday to call back then and I'll still be able to certify on Monday. Call the Employer Filed Claims # at 866-845-0047. It's hard to get through (big surprise).
  7. In the second paragraph under "Layoff Information...": Ford is saying to follow their directions to certify, and to ignore the STATE OF MICHIGAN'S directions?? That's interesting.
  8. He's not trying to certify. The claim hasn't even been filed yet. Won't be able to certify until the week of the 20th now.
  9. When filing an unemployment claim online, did anyone select "Add an employer", and have to add your hire date, occupation code, past layoffs, etc? Or do we not select "Add an employer"?? Thanks!
  10. I was having the same problem back in November. Qwertyuip suggested this, worked for me: "Aha Use www.hronline.ford.com instead of web.hronline.ford.com. Ever since the redesigned site came out the "www" has been accessible outside of the Ford intranet. I exclusively use "www" instead of "web" and have no problems."
  11. All I was told, in November, was that Ford would be offering buyouts "at the beginning of the year".
  12. I doubt anyone at MAP will count on Ford to file their claim again! File any time during the week of layoff.
  13. 1) Based on my post, I don't know why you would assume that I am "out of luck", or that I "should have took" (really? "took"?) a buyout years ago - I asked a straightforward question, and you clearly have no insight as to WHY I asked; 2) I was told from a fairly reliable source that says buyouts will be offered again, and I was simply curious if anyone else had heard this. Thanks for the information cal50 and wildosvt.
  14. Has anyone heard of any upcoming buyout offers?
  15. I filed my own claim the first week we were off, and just certified with MARVIN for both weeks. Fool me once...
  16. Correct, click "yes". Don't know the zip offhand, but you only enter employer info if you worked after 12/5.
  17. I don't understand why we wouldn't get a letter until the 30th - who did you hear that from? Not questioning your info, just wondering who told you that. I haven't received a letter, so I filed a claim online last night. If the claim isn't filed until next week, you won't be able to call MARVIN until the 30th. It's my belief that's why it was delayed last time. Unfortunately we were burned last month regarding unemployment - I'm not taking ANY chances this time.
  18. Did anyone get their letter from UIA indicating Ford filed a claim? If your online account does not show a claim was filed, you might want to file your own to avoid delays in payment.
  19. I certified on the 18th too, that was deposited on the 20th. Would assume the "7-10 days" for sub-pay would be business days, but would also think they'd all be deposited on the same day, or at least in the same week.
  20. Still haven't received mine. Certified with UIA on 11/18. Pinto, can I ask when you certified?
  21. Got it! Had no idea the website was re-designed Thanks, appreciate the help!
  22. Thanks for the responses. Still getting the following window after logging in and clicking "Continue" on my laptop: This is what comes up immediately after logging in on my phone: There is no "Continue" button, the screen will not go smaller to show more content. There is no other button on the screen except "I do not accept". Trust me, I've tried. Labor Relations was zero help, there is no Tech Support for the website except for a forgotten user id/password, and when I tried to print from the kiosk at MAP, the printer isn't working, of course. Any ideas or help will be appreciated.
  23. Tried again today - yesterday, after clicking "continue", I was getting a small "error 500" message; today, "continue" brings up a page saying "server not found". Tried Firefox and IE. When I bring it up on my phone, there is no "continue" button, only "I do not accept".
