  1. CrownVic YOU ROCK!!! Global Warming is a hoax. Hybrids are just a politcal statement. "Look! Look at me Al Gore! I'm drinking your Kool-Aid" Even thought the arctic ice is thicker now than before your movie. Even though recent NOAA reports confirm that in the last 12 months the global temprature has dropped dramatrically as have solar activity... I want to give all the third world nations millions of dollars to help them stop GW even though it will make our standard of living just like theirs.
  2. NO! HERE is how to solve our energy issues. Drill offshore. The technology of today's oil companies is such that we can do this without harm to anything. Drill in ANWAR. I am 100% sure that none of you know that the dreaded Alaska Pipeline actually INCREASED the population of the caribou. No harm will come to anything in ANWAR. Loosen the restrictions on C02 emissions. Global Warming is a HOAX. Al Gore is not a scientist. He is not a meteorologist. He is a liberal politician. Putting government restrictions on energy use by Americans and America just gives more power to these politicians. Next, John Coleman, the founder of the Weather Channel has recently publicly announced that GW is the biggest hoax ever perpertrated on mankind. Go to dailytech.com and stumble around and you will find an article that confirms that the arctic ice has returned. You will find that despite alleged increase CO2 emissions over the last 12 months global tempratures have declined. This is attributed to decrease in solar activity. We have plenty oil. Go to EnergyTomorrow.org There is no "consensus" among scientis. If you take the time to look for places other than the liberal media you will find many, many well respected scientific communities that disagree that GW, if it exists, is not man-cause and/or not a threat to mankind. And don't tell me they are all Big Oil think tanks. Most of the pro-GW scientists get HUGE government grants. In todays politically correct environment, do you think they would be stupid enough to disprove man-caused GW?? However, putting a "carbon" tax/penalty on our nation's industries can hurt our economy. Giving million and millions of U.S. dollars to other countries to help them fight this mythical dragon ( U.N.s KYOTO ACCORD) will further move us towards lowering our nations standard to that of the third world. Research this. You will be amazed. Look at MSMBC message boards (environment) to see the discussions on this issue. There is much, much more I have not covered here.
  3. This may sound stupid, but you might want to consider an '09 F-150 Cerw Cab. With a bench seat in the front it will seat 6 and you will have the bed if you want to haul stuff you don't want to be inside the cab with. If you never will be hauling manure or gravel etc. you can get an aftermarket shell painted the color of your truck. The f-150 will give you much more towing capacity and with the new 6-speed tranny behind all of the V-8 except the base V8 you will get much better mpg and the whole package will be a lot smaller than your Excursion. OOOPS! I just realized you have an Expedition. Sorry. You still might at least look at and price an F-150 Crew Cab.
  4. I Agree! Or at least leave a front BENCH SEAT as an option.
  5. I don't have the computer skills to put a picture of one up, but I think it is one of the most beautiful cars in the world. Carrol Shelby built 6 of them in 1964 and won the FIA Championship. I know there was of prototype of a "modern" Daytona Coupe a few years ago, but it was not as beautiful as the original. Maybe 'Ol Shel would give his blessing (for a phenominal fee, I am sure) to build them. Maybe base it on one of the Austrailian RWD 4-wheel independent suspension frames and give it a small V-8 (the original was only 289 cu/in.) and a six speed manual. Keep it kind of minimalistic without a lot of electronic gizmos in the interior. Keep the cost down by not using the aluminum block DOHC 4.6 but rather something like a naturally aspirated 4.6L 3valve or maybe an EcoBoost V6. The superformance cars are nice, but i think a Ford factory built Daytona Coupe could be made for a lot less than they cost. If you can keep the weight down, it should get good gas mileage at freeway speeds in 6th gear. Please limit the only color avalilable to Cobra Blue with white racing stripes. Remember, Henry J. founded FOMOCO with money he made winning and outomobile race racing, right? Well you did say this was a "FORD WISH LIST FORUM". First On Race Day
  6. This all makes the 3.5 EcoBoost look like the way to go unless you will be hauling HEAVY loads....
  7. Good news for you. The I4 is avaliable with the 6speed trans for 2009.
  8. It's here right now in another thread. I can't remember its name.
