When it works it's great, but those struts/shocks are EXPENSIVE to replace on your dime. Some of the older DTS's are starting to show their age and once and a while a strut goes bad. Try telling people to spend $1800 per wheel and you get either slack jaws or cursing.

I don't think that's the exhaust. Other photo's show the Exh Manifold with a metal heat shield. You also wouldn't run your wiring right over an exhaust manifold.

Is it design or just cost cutting? LED's definitely light up faster which is a plus.

Are the lamps active in that photo? If the tailamp is on I'm fine with it. You want it to draw attention. If it's not active then I'll need to see it on the car in person to judge it further.
