  1. Yeah, let's finish destroying Ford like we did GM and Chrysler. Then we can work for non-union Toyota. Let's send ALL our money overseas! Let's run to Wal-Mart and buy Chinese crap! We want Korean appliances, too! Kill Ford now! We want to be unemployed!!!!!
  2. Toyota wants consumers to think they're ALL made here. On a Toyota's window sticker, if it's an import, it won't show which assembly plant in Japan produced it. It will list the port of entry. Now, it it was assembled here (none of them are actually MADE here), Toyota will proudly list the US site and go on about how it's American proud. Then Toyota will have their Memorial Day sales event.........honoring all the Americans who have died defending us from attack. Didn't Americans die fighting Japanese aggression? So that's how they honor our servicemen/women? "Thanks for the dollars and jobs, Yankee Dog", sincerely Tojo. A Japanese official recently said he liked Americans but we're kinda stupid. He was right.
  3. I've spoken to many Toyota owners. Their trucks can easily exceed 177 mph. Owners tell me their Toyotas can fly, take out the trash, do dishes, watch the kids, play the violin, and speak in tongues. They feel the rest of us are jealous.
  4. You might want to try Crutchfield (crutchfield.com, 1-800-217-1059). I ordered replacement speakers for my Mustang II from them. They'll fill you in on installation.
  5. The recovery has slowed some, combine that with the rest of the world's economic woes and it creates a huge drain on our stock. I bought more at $2 and everyone said I was throwing my money away. Don't listen to the "experts". They know investments (maybe), but they don't know Ford. When you push Ford into a corner they come out swinging. Debt's going down, great products, new technologies........Ford's slugging its way back. Ford's more than a company.
  6. There was a noose found in the plant where I worked. We were required to tie different types of knots for certain products. The company pounced right on it as being a racial incident and launched an investigation. I don't even want to go into the time I offered some of my rice cakes to an Asian.
  7. First Bush II, now this......hey, Governor, you gonna have sushi with your TexMex? Nothing beats the taste of Japanese ass kissin', huh?
  8. I still have "Danger-Lexus Toyota Ahead" on my '74 Ford. I've had Toyota owners give me the finger, moon me, yell obscenities........I've driven it through Toyota dealers' lots. Geeze, they're all so touchy on the subject. Last week I wore my "Toytotal Recall Just Buy American" shirt in one of their showrooms. No sense of humor. Go to Cafe.presss to order yours! The sign comes off the rear window when the recalls stop. Gonna be a long decade.
  9. I hear ya! Women should be subservient to men. You shouldn't eat shellfish. Tatoos? You shouldn't be allowed in heaven, go straight to hell. Let he who is without sin cast the first stone. It's OK to have slaves. Oh wait, what was that next t-to-last one? You know, the one Jesus spoke? "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone" I'm a Christian and I follow the New Testament. Here's what Jesus said about homosexuals. That's right. Nothing. Aren't Christians supposed to follow Christ? Too many Cafeteria Christians He didn't comdemn gays. If I was hiring someone to do a job I'd take the best applicant. Even if he was a two-headed-Toyota-driving-plaid-wearing-nose-pickin'-lampshade-wearin'-Christian.
  10. Hey, how ya doin'? mark

  11. I haven't seen any problems with the MKZs, or Fusions, or Milans. My '91 Escort GT was assembled in that plant. The driver's door had been repaired when it was delivered. No problems after 112,000 miles. Just that damn door. I'm not impressed with Chicago's quality.
  12. The alignment was obviously off on the Tauruses pictured in the other thread. So, why did Chicago ship them? Let's not become Toyotaized........"We don't have a problem". Of all the cars on Ford and Lincoln lots, the only ones I've seen that have any type of fit and finish problem have all come from Chicago.
  13. Thanks for 8 years of Bush II. Richards had him pegged. The country should have listened to her.
