Funny jokes No I don't claim that I have it figured out, but if your waiting all year long for a stupid picnic just to hear people fight and argue and watch old farts play tonk, then just do it at home. I'll go with good people if I feel like it but personally I have better things to do. I'd rather go to Ruby Tuesday's and have a beer with the boys personally instead of hearing a bunch of old ladies and kids running around. (take'em to Cedar Point) if you want a picnic. If you don't work at Saline then why interject your stupidity then? - stay in the kiddie pool where you belong.. hahahah

First of all the surplus is less then 800 (around 650) not all 850 people will be needed.. 2nd of all as soon as the orange people leave, be prepared to have the jobs doubled up on you, they are not going to run these 15 people lines on 15 people when you can build these parts with 5 people. 3rd of all, who the hell cares about a picnic, get a life, go outside in your own back yard sit back with a rubber tube around your neck, put your feet up and hold up a drink, (there's your picnic)... We have more things to worry about then a picnic. This is the kinda pithy stuff that really pisses me off. Some of you people need to come down to earth (reality), the UAW can barely hold it's membership together now with all the job cuts, layoff's wrongful terminations etc etc etc. And as for union dues being doubled (I don't think so). Lets get our acts together and help these companies keep our jobs. Do what you can to pitch in and be a team player. Show up to work on time, show up to work period, do a quality job, keep your area clean.. hahahahah.. lol Anyway, we need to worry about other things rather then a picnic.. just my two cents.

Go live in Colorado where all the Green energy jobs will start.. haheheheh.. you can go out on bounty hunts too with the dog while your there. here is the deal, the gov needs to step in and do something to these CEO's in all these businesses, many companies are going under because of the people running them. Shareholder boars won't hold their CEO's accountable so they need to go also. Your problem lies with regulation and the lack of it for the past 20 years on wall street and in the board room. People don't want socialism well it's coming and don't cry when you get it, because it might be the best thing for this country along with a nationalized health care system.

He made the Palace of Auburn hills rich when he could have done the show in Detroit where city council wanted it. Leno took the easy road and Detroiters lost. If he would have brought his show to Detroit, many bars and restaurants would have made money and stayed in business. Shame on that backwards face pompous ass. He sucks anyway as a comedian.

Tell the dealer you want it delivered to your front door. they will do just about anything for your business now a days. Why waste your gas going back up to the dealership.. Someone will drive it right too your driveway.

Saline is nice.. no going home hurt, no going home tired, no going home at 3:30am, Overtime available, parking is nice, supervision don't bother you, wow what a difference compared to Dearborn.. I love it.

There is a lot of stealing at these plants. I used to work security at SRP back in 1994. I caught Ford security supervisors steeling gas and welding equipment. They are all gone now most retired. But can you imagine the steeling going on today by people? This company looses over 50 million a year in stolen property. If the company took a visit to every retiree's garage I'm sure they would find at least 50 million in stolen goods. (i.e screw guns, gloves, cleaning supplies) etc etc.. hahahahahah and welding equipment. Checking lunch boxes isn't going to prevent theft when you have all your skill trades doing it..

Wage concessions (if negotiated) by the UAW and company will be set according to your Ford seniority. If your a new hire you might come in at $16 per hour, if you have less then 10 years in your pay will be diffrent. Don't look for flat wage concessions across the board. And if the UAW sees you talking about this on the Forums you better believe they will give up wages, so can we stop talking about this please. No one knows what the UAW will do in the future, we just gave up 10k worth of money each year. I don't think they are about to get another "yes" vote, and I'd actually like to see the results of the last vote to tell you the truth.. I hope there are some lawyers out there challenging that "yes" vote we just passed, cause many people I talk to say they voted "no" on it, so how the hell could it have passed?

HAHAHAH you should have signed up for Saline bud.. hahahah you stupid people will be working your ass off in Dearborn now is right.. hhahahah.. Dearborn is just a weeding ground, they send people out that don't work by termination or some crap, and the suckers that keep their heads down well they just keep being suckered. People if you have a chance to get out of Dearborn do it. Some like it, they live 5 minutes away, let them do the work and sweat. Why sweat when you can work at a parts plant, make the same pay and go home happy. HAHahahahahaha I'm in heaven....

The buyout packages are a joke.. HR handed out the info at the Saline orientation Monday and everyone started laughing at them!.. I bet they felt like crap. They actually got one person in the orientation to sign up, when they looked at it, it said "Mickey Mouse" on it.. hahahahahah Ford better start coming up with 100k post tax buy outs else no one will ever leave. No 25-30 year worker will leave right now with the economy being so bad either. Boy they need to get a clue.
