  1. whatever mr. educated, i too go to all union meetings and also associate and have had lunch with international reps on staff and can attest this is only a smoking screen to take away the fact that we were sold out on concessions that was shot down 3-1 by the membership against dickwads like you that tried to support it...now the higher ups know that there is no confidence by the members in their leadership abilities after this blunder...give me a break.... suck ass.
  2. F Like the previous poster put, if you have a personal problem with someone ...curtis...while hiding behind a pseudo name and cutting on someone because you are a coward, take it to the person. Who will then in turn slap the taste out of your mouth for talking about something you know nothing about.
  3. I would definatly not call it hating, i would call it an awakening. I learned through mistakes that people that elect you depend on and more importantly deserve to have that person stand in the role as a "leader" and not blindly follow people when they dont believe in their heart that what is happening around them is in the best intrests of the people that put them in office. I agree we made our fair share of mistakes as reps at MTP and I definatly am not missing the pressure of carrying that burden at this time in my life, but the reason I got involved in being a rep for 12 years was the fact that I wanted to stand for something I believed in and the UAW was the cause, being that my father and Grandfather were reps for over 25 years, it was in the blood. I no longer believe in the leadership at local 900, after the deal with the concessions, that i spoke out against, i believe i have reason not to. Myself along with everyone else can make our own decisions on whether we believe that that the leadership at local 900 is fair and has the entire memberships best intrests at heart. I will continue to voice my opinions if I see something that I think is wrong or unjust. Now on a personal note,I think I have a good idea who this is and I understand you have to do as your told and make Bill happy and put blogs like this out there, but if you are being honest, I went out of my way to help many people at MTP I took a lot of time out of my personal life to not only get people like yourself involved but also got them elected when they were not electable do to being green ( no pun intended) I tried to be a personal friend, mentor and trainer. I agree that I made a mistakes in blindly following the upper UAW leadership at MTP, along with that I made mistakes in my personal life due to the stress of being in that position that almost cost me my life. But dont get it twisted I am not looking to get back into the political arena and I would like to think that at this point in my life I can say I truly do NOT HATE anyone. It just makes me sad that some people that were close to me on a personal level, that I considered GREAT friends, seem to have forgotten that. - this will be my last post on this. BigTone out, God bless.
  4. Beth is awaiting a ruling my NLRB as to whether she goes to wayne due to the fact that the political caucus in place is afraid of her so they denied her the same opportunity that the rest of us were afforded by seniority and because bill and the rest of his blind following committee that cant think for themselves are afraid of beth due to the fact people know she is fair and honest. It truly disgusts me, as it does others, what our union leadership has become from the top down, i think our vote on the concessions they tried to shove down our throats shows that!!. Favortism and nepotism rule, it doesnt matter who is best for the job, it matters who can suck the most ass! It really doesnt matter what plant you go to at this moment, they are all ran the same. It will take a movement, a revolution to get things back to the way they need to be, the way they use to be. But unfortunatly people want things to change but they dont show up when they are needed to help make a change. Isnt just a few moments out of your life worth being able to know you will be treated fairly without having to do something to sacrifice your integrity to recieve the same benefits that should be yours afforded by your local agreement? Wake up people, look around you...everyone is saying the same thing but doing nothing about it!!! You know who I am, no pseudoism here. If you are like minded contact me or Gary Walkowitz at DTP..lets make a change.
  5. what a huge load of horse crap...obviously written by a IUAW rep....they came into our plants threatening us, using whipsaw techniques that were usually only done by management and we still stood ground and showed solidarity against the new enemy. I agree, we should not forget this in 11' We are our brothers keeper.
  6. I predict....it will be built at WAP which will not only not close down when MAP goes online but also...get the mustang after AAI closes doors after 2011 negotiations...
  7. No debate needed here , past posts show people know who you are and what you are about. My only regret is I wish I had you in front of me because I promise when it was over you would know the meaning of respect. Let that happen one time mouth...please...let that happen
  8. ok...so they didnt want to give up the concession of getting their car insurance paid for...or their COLA that gets rolled into their 2nd pension that is over what we that bust ass on the line get, or that they dont pay co-pay on doctor visits...they are so superior to the worker that busts his ass daily..but hey..i am debating with one of them now...so whats good for me is not good for you. The people know the truth, i dont have to debate with a sorry ass like you, you praised these concessions in former posts that the membership stood up and shot down, and embarrassed all the sell outs like yourself that came into our plants trying to sell this garbage for your own personal gains, guess what...Ford will show another huge profit again next quarter off our backs again...while they take no concessions, just like you IUAW sell outs, the vote shows times are going to change, we are coming full circle and UAW sell outs like you will only be talked about in the history books under the title " battle of the overpass 2"
  9. even though in all actuality the plant is really only re-tooling for a new product, the powers that be have deemed it as a "new" plant for political reasons, therefore changing the plant code, so comes the question...if its not 224 code, do you have recall rights?? or can they bring in new hires if no one in the zone of region 1 and 1A are not on ILO but are placed in plants off temp postings? So if you transfered to WAP, which is closing soon supposedly and the new plant named MAP is just that.."new"..hmmmm........ by the way, heard that IUAW shot down their concessionary agreement on their own personal contract they have, which is over and above, as well as superior to ours...where is leading by example Cap 723? You mean they dont want to give more either??????????????? You're right ..lets not blame the ones that tried to shove the garbage down our throats right before the 1 billion profit announcement, and now they are taking no cuts, nor cutting anyone off staff...i have to finally agree with the majority on this site that is asking you to take your ass sucking, Bob King loving, under the desk at solidarity house punk ass off this site, this is for true Union Brothers and Sisters only. The ones that stand for the truth! Tell Bob that tommorow!!
  10. Definatly NOT bragging about anything after being layed off 7 months out of the last 12 months before transferring to Saline, I am very blessed in this industry and economy not only to be getting overtime right now but to also be in the department for the Taurus which is selling so good and helping allow Ford to hopefully post another billion dollar quarter of profit, so dont get it twisted. was just looking for information, which by the way we have been contacted to come back Saturday due to strike being over. By the way... who in Region 1 and 1A is on ILO right now?
  11. Layed off from Saline this week due to parts shortage at Chicago plant because of Ford supplier plant in India being on strike we are told. (guess they dont have a "no strike clause" there), went from working 7 days 12 hours due to trying to keep up with Taurus production to layed off this week, here is about all i could dig up on this... There is a parts shortage due to labor problems in India's automotive sector. Thousands of Indian automotive workers are on strike. One man has died, so far. It's affecting Ford, Honda, and Hyundai. Ford's parts come from Rico Auto Industries at Haryana. It's not getting alot of press in the USA. I am surprised that Ford employees haven't heard about the labor strife at the parts suppliers. http://online.wsj.com/article/SB125604570010196419.html
  12. amen to that brother...who is the real enemy of the UAW now, who has done the most to divide us this time?
  13. i think by anyone reading these posts its quite apparent how much damage the IUAW has done by whipsawing and strong arming members in our plants, I hope no one gets misplaced or ends up jobless, but lets be for real, do you think the outcome with Ford would have really been any different? Thanks again Internationl Union thugs for doing what the company has failed to do in the last 50 years..divide us!
  14. is there any "real" leaders left? People of integrity, ones that will do the right thing even if it effects their personal agenda?
  15. far cry from the video they had us watch of Joe Hinrich, telling us Ford isnt doing well and they might be asking for more concessions...oh yeah..they did
  16. go sit in the corner and let the real men fight this fight
  17. thought we already did that with the 2007 CBA and all the concessions we gave in that??
  18. Never thought I would see the day when our own appointed IUAW represenatives would walk into our plants and use scare tactics, whipsawing and strong arming to try and get a vote passed, I have personally witnessed international union reps threatening that our products will get sent out of country, sent to other plants or the plant will be shut down if you do not vote yes. Are'nt most of these commitments binding under the 2007 CBA?? Isnt this the same tactics that Walter Ruether fought against? Do they think we are that ignorant when they sent Joe Hinrich into the plants to tell us that our quality is sub standard and that Ford really isnt in good shape right now and that Ford will probably have to ask for more CONCESSIONS, then 2 weeks later, guess what...we have a modification agreement that needs to be ratified..hmmm now for some truth... http://www.freep.com/article/20091028/BUSI...d--world-class- Its bad enough that the company will try and undermind you, but now the IUAW, who is so far out of touch with the working people on the floor, is trying desperatly to use fear as a weapon to get the votes they need. These are people that negotiate a seperate contract for themselves that is far superior than ours, one that includes second pensions, car allowances, gas cards, paid car insurance, cell phones, expense accounts, and seperate benefits. Who do they negotiate against on this seperate contract? Who sits on the other side of the table on this? And they want to take more from us?! Am I out here alone or do you find this insulting? I think the IUAW is doing more to destroy the Union right now and divide the membership than what the company has been able to accomplish in 50 years! Brothers and Sisters, its time we take measures to take our Union back! When this is over the real fight has just begun.
  19. NOW THATS WHAT I AM SAYIN'..GONNA BORROW YOUR QUOTE BROTHER!!
  20. Do you think in 2010 that when GM and Chrysler have to go back in and take concessions in health care and pension as well as wages to stay "competitive" ,that Ford wont be coming back to us again to follow suit?? After all we agreed to stay "competitive" too. I predict we will be doing this again before 2011...
  21. Bob was not there for the 1-3 watch, Dave Cursey was in his place and after debating the agreement for about an hour i came away with this..at the end of the 2007 agreement if we want to ask for a pay increase and management refuses it goes to baseball arbitration, which means the arbitrator will either rule for it or against it..no in between..based on our competitive wage in comparison to non-UAW scab plants. If we dont like the answer we get, we can NOT strike...as Mulally makes his 21 million. I think that there is a lot more on the line here, such as ..a Presidency??? :shades: vote count was 51%-49% and decided by 27 votes...WAP was not a land slide like predicted...
  22. going to go head to head with Bob at local 900 at @ 2:45pm, before majority of day shift votes, have a lot of support after letters (attached) that myself and other respected UAW members signed..pray for me that the right words are conveyed...we have to show that we are the UAW not the reps that are in bed with the company..VOTE NO! please feel free to use my letters, change them, re-print or whatever to get this job done..thank you my brothers and sisters..we can do this!
