First off I would like to say EVERYONE should be thankful to have a job..Secondly EVERYONE deserves a raise. However when I hired in back 13 yrs ago.. I didn't start off making "Top" dollars nor did I receive full benefits. I had to work my way up the pay scale as I'm sure thousands others did as well. To me there is no "Us" or "U" in the matter of our classifications. We all are employed by One Company to do their assigned jobs. Most 2 Tier employees started maybe 3 yrs ago. You have received raises since and well deserved. Next contract you will receive a new set of raises. However don't lash out at your Tier 1 fellow employee just because they were hired before times changed and the 2 Tier system was implemented. U are falling right in the mindset of how the "Company" wants. Pitting folks against each other to undermind and divide to overshadow the fact "We all" deserve more. But put your time in before u expect the world. There is enough prosperity for all together than divided.

Whoever is responsible for submitting our sub pay...should be sent to the block house..

Our claim was processed for a new calender year. We are not receiving any unemployment until the week of November 17th.

Spoke with rep from unemployment we can claim Thursday November 6th or Friday..claim was not processed because they (state) was closed for election day.

C crew works Friday...no production Sat or Sun...regular workday Monday

Per the revised production schedule all layoff weeks have been canceled...nothing said in anger...this came from word from Management (upper) not floor supervisor...guess we will find out tomorrow...everyone knows how fast the news (rumors) changes...

Please dont concern yourself with me gentlemen. .it appears you were the ones with the issues with your unemployment. .unlike most of you I followed the instructions given to us by the memo provided. .so glad all is well..enjoy ur finals days off...all layoffs weeks have been canceled. .so get your educated butts back on the line!!!!!

I see you skipped over the part when he said "you guys are silly"...yes that was a classy comment wasn't it??? There is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG WITH BEING EDUCATED. ..but spread your information in a positive way...talking down to a person or silly lil insults and name calling is for kids!!! I totally agree with you and I believe C crew is part of that issue. .Actually for c crew the last day worked should be on Saturday. .Sunday for Unemployment for the State of Michigan starts its new week on Sunday...the fact the c crew works that last Sunday routinely. .in my humble opinion I believe that throws everything off.

Clearly everything changes minute by minute with our unemployment but last I heard we call after Wednesday for last week and then next week we certify for the week coming up. I never understood why we cant do like the 'OL days just wait and certify two weeks at a time..but as EVERYONE knows to well...we aint in the 'OL days anymore...but like I said this may have changed. ..so dont be too hard on me if my info is outdated...but that was the info given in the plant memo...

No and if there was discussions such as that it wouldn't be mentioned. ...at the Union Meeting. ..

At union meeting today both May 5 & May 12 are confirmed layoff weeks.

I could be incorrect but I'm gonna say this the problem with our unemployment checks is state of michigan week runs Sun-Sat....Ford Motor if you are on C Crew is Monday-Sunday..with the one day difference it extends ur certify day by a week. Just my observation

I thought orginally they were announcing 1400 would be new hires off the street. News stated they already hired 175 folks so that would be only 225 more needed. I know you can't always believe what you hear. ..however the number seems really low. There must be a lot of folks laid off from other Ford facilities. ..

Because it would be too helpful to the employees to know what their bonus is.however if you have direct deposit the total amount being transferred is shown...they seem to always do this whenever we get any bonus of any kind...

Over the past few weeks rumors have been going around stating that MAP C-crew will be ending soon and will be sent to Flat Rock due to the amount folks needed. UAW plant commiteeman stated that this will happen in April. However, other plant committee folks stated this is simply not true. Since I know how "polictics" work on the plant floor anything is possible. Has anyone else heard this?

Now since you are SO educated did it explain that most of it covered 2 wars and starving economy and the bailouts (for walstreet) which all was started by George Bush. Let the truth be told be Republicans or Democrats nor Ford Motor Co. for that matter really cares about you or me. We must do what we can to provide for our families. No you don't have to go on however if you think a Republican are going to do any of that then I have a prime piece of land dirt cheap!!! Get over yourself if you think all situations are the fault of Obama....guess you don't remember GW (George Bush). Greed and capitalism has been going on in government for decades but its funny folks all of a sudden NOW folks are concerned about the budget when Republicans ran up the debt TWICE as much as Democrats. So cast your vote in 2012 for the red party that us your right as an American but make sure you save me a place in line for soup (thats if there's any left). As far as I know only folks who worked that week received Holiday Pay. Never received the call from the plant either. Spoke with Union rep yesterday nothing can be done till next week.(they on vacation so that was a no brainer!! Happy New Year folks!!
