You know I tried this and Ford DENIED my warranty from another dealer saying I need to go back to them for service because its their workmanship! I hear you the dealer service depts are freaking incompetent to say the least. They always just told me they can't reproduce it and give me lip service.

So are mine... And I agree with you JScullin - Ford has only been making cars for what 100 years? These issues must have come up in the past especially when I think of the "Bad smell from vents on A/C startup". By now they should have realized how to make sure the condenser / radiator can be dried to prevent foul smells due to mold accumulating.

Yeah they're right you can get 47 MPG but it seems any climate use kills it. Heating or cooling just destroys my mileage and its near impossible to get back. Still today my lifetime average is 41.1 MPG.

Yeah by all means it is a good car. Handing, ride quality, quietness, smoothness of EV / ICE transitions... But the inconsistent fuel economy results, rattles and the build quality are what got to most early buyers.

Definitely the sensor is going / wires are loose...

The dealers get cash payments each month depending on how well (and perhaps how many) surveys are filled out from their sales.

Awesome! The thing is in mixed driving I'm able to get 47 MPG. In Suburb traffic the car really accels and I'm able to get about 52 MPG. Summer milage of course, Shell gasoline. But yeah in winter it does suck and go down to like 38 MPG. The $775 will be appreciated.

I did... In Canada Auto Zone, Canadian Tire and Napa Auto Parts all didn't have them. Neither did two of the dealers I visited.

Anyways no answers here but a recent trip to Buffalo found me some at Pep Boys, a small Micro2 Fuse Pack - assorted for $4.

Okay found one... #27 from the engine compartment panel. Edit: #27 was not even populated... Thanks cheap Ford Anyone know where to get a set of these stupid that are smaller than mini - micro fuses?

Hi all, So I blew the fuse for the interior lights by trying to get out the trunk light with a screwdriver :o Are there any spares in the passenger comparement or engine panel? They're all these stupid custom micro fuses. Not mini, but smaller hence the micro name. I see spares for Micro3 (three pronged) but not for a 10A micro2. I don't even think there is anything on the car that uses the Micro3 10A so why they're included I don't know. I see a spare for a Micro 5A and Micro 15A but not Micro 10A.... Thanks, Kevin

If I could take the panel off I could figure it out my self... Its very similar to be honest it sounds like a wire or two pieces of plastic hitting each other. It happens when the car goes over bumps that would move it from side to side (vs typical front to back bumps). The left side will dip for example and on return you hear the noise.\ Anyone willing to post a few pages from the service manual or anyone willing to go halfsizies with me? Its $170 for a CD/DVD... Probably no real copy protection on it.

Hmm strange how much exhaust from other cars gets in then... Must be the ginormous front open grille. I really hate how this car (and pretty much any other out there) won't let you have front window and recirculate on at the same time. I'd be much safer driving down the road with recirculate on but eventually the windows fog up. Then you get a disgusting VW golf from 1984 in front of you just spewing out black.

You bought a Ford and only needed to take it in 3 times? Oh lucky you! Praise the lord. This would be visit number 14 for me.. Its definitely in the upper portion the airbag is bolted to the frame so there isn't really any risk from damaging it, just need to figure out how to get the light gray panel off...

Hi, Does anyone know how to take apart the driver side door pillar airbag panel? The problem is the seat belt hook goes through it, not sure how it would come off... Don't ask stupid questions like why. Dealer service seems so freaking incompetent there is a rattle coming from it and they claim they can't reproduce it... Yes I'll disconnect the 12v before opening it. Got the bottom of really easily, the panel just snaps off / back on.
