  1. Too bad . I understand the frustration . My 1973 Corolla was a constant source of frustration. However not all escapes seem to have issues. My 2013 SE 2.0l has 45000 miles. The only repairs I have had to do are 4 oil changes 1 set of tires and the recalls. I have yet to own a recall free vehicle.
  2. inhave need driving in snow my entire life from 70's rear wheel to all sorts of FWD, a 2004 RWD Cadillac CTS. If you drive a lot in snow, but snow tires . Worth their weight in gold. That being said I replaced the stock Continentals with Michilen Latitude All Season last fall. They were much better in the snow. The don't get quite the gas mileage of the continentals and are a tad bit noiser but the traction both wet and snow is much better. As far as ice traction , I stay home . Life is to short to drive in freezing rain .
  3. 2013 SE 2.0 L AWD with tow pkg.. 21 MPG all city most trips less than 10 miles. A lot of stop and go. Not unhappy with that all. 29 MPG at 60 to 65 MPG highway. I miss the instant MPG that my Caddy CTS had. On that car I could get 26 to 27 MPG at 64 MPH . Go 69 MPH and that would drop to 24 MPG. At 75 MPH that dropped to 20 MPG. Every car has a threshold controlled by aerodynamics and engine when there is a cliff in MPG. The caddy was 18 to 19 around town. 3.5 l V6 265 HP. The instant MPH can really help you understand what happens with speed, load and temp. The average doesn't help as much here unless you only drive in one style.
  4. MPG.... and I ditto the average and instantaneous. My Caddy CTS has both and having the instantaneous really shows what you are doing now. That being said.. really hppy with the 85% around town and 15% highway averaging now at 22 MPG. I am sure once winter comes and I get used to the AWD, I will be showing the drive display
