Anyone else with 2013 & 2014 Escapes receive a claim code for a Prepaid MasterCard? A gift from Ford for all the recall problems.

Wife's had the creaking noise when you turned the steering wheel and were standing still. Replacing the upper strut bearings stopped it.

Had TSB for creaking noise performed last week. Total disaster. In on Thurs. morning. Waited 4 hrs. Finally took me home. They called Thurs. evening, advised they had to "emergency order" strut spring. FedEx to delivery Fri morning. Didn't get there till 5:30, mechanic gone home. Picked up Mon. afternoon and was told had to replace one sway bar link also because it wouldn't torque to specs(stripped). When brakes get warmed up and making right turn getting a scraping sound sometimes. After looking myself, have added slight clearance to baking plate in two spots and moved thin metal tab at ball joint that was extremely close to outer CV joint. So far so good.

Wife rolled into the back of another car at a stoplight. The car had a piece of metal sticking out the back. Punched a hole through the passenger side of the bumper cover, took out the headlight, signal light, fog lamp, washer fluid tank. No damage to hood or right fender. Total= $2300.00

Mine makes a sound from the rear door when you open the drivers door after sitting all night.

Ours only gets the little black drip if it's been on the interstate. The rest of the time it drops behind the roll and out the drain hole. I don't like the big black splotch on the muffler from it's drain. Thinking about painting the whole muffler black.

Maybe the Kuga had one
