  1. Maybe after seeing all the joke on the internet they called for and EMERGENCY refresh! They might show it in NYC with some new dealer before it reach the dealers...
  2. We had a Dunkin Donuts in towns... When Tims started to approach local entrepreneur to open a franchise nobody wanted, saying they'd never be successful located beside a DD... Well, they offered it to a guy who did cleaning in their restaurant in Moncton at night... 20 years later the local DD is now closed and the guy who took the Tims franchise now have four of thems... In our little 5 000 persons towns, he said at 7 am all his expenses for the day are paid and the profit start coming in! But yeah they're coffee is crappy. We have Tazza Café, a local chain, who's doing way better coffee at a similar price, and they have a drive-thru too.
  3. We kept saying the next F150 could shrink massively to be T6-based... But could it be the next Ranger would grow a bit and the next F150 would shrink a bit to share platform? You know what I mean, like not the next gen F150 but the one after.
  4. Because, at the height of the NA Incentive War, you could get a fullsize pickup from the big three with close to the same equipments as them for not much more?
  5. Could Chrysler/Fiat, sale crazy as they recently became, do the the same thing they do (or did?) with HD (anyway here in Canada it was like that for a while): Diesel at no charge?
  6. My point of view is, people stopped caring for them when their 'main' advantage, fuel economy, came nearly non-existent. I'd like to see what a 2wd 3.7 single cab short box STX does in city/highway compared to my 2wd 4.0 Ranger. When the compact truck market declined, the half-ton size were at their best. Low price fuel, SUV craze. Now, the situation is different, but everybody's gone. Heck, the Tacoma is nearly the size my father's '02 Lariat was!
  7. There's a difference between the station wagon case and the compact truck case IMHO. Station Wagon were replaced by minivan, much more practical for families, and CUV, better looking to some and readily avalaible in AWD configuration, helping up north (especially here in Canada). The compacts trucks however, were neglected. The two most recent offering (not counting Colorado, not on market yet) are what, the Tacoma and Frontier? They're going through the same thing as the Ranger, just basic grille and styling refresh since a few years. The GM twins were joke as usually, the post-redesign Dakota was... Well a pre-Fiat Ram without a Hemi, so basically nothing. The Ridgeline is a bad execution of a good concept. If a manufacturer would've put the effort and developpement that went in full-size trucks in the last 10 years, we'd have amazing little truck currently. I love my Ranger, the size, everything. Give me the same thing in a modern package, with today's fuel economy, power, styling and interior design, and I think more people would look back into compact truck.
  8. People who bought Ranger went to other vehicle because smaller truck were neglected by most manufacturer compared to full-sized one, and thus offer no real advantage and less capability.> Bring a real, all new compact truck to the market, which is not a 'compromise' like the old Ranger or others, with good fuel economy and plenty of configuration choice like an F150... And I'd bet the market will grow back.
  9. Basically, a Sport Trac going through the same 're-invention' as the Explorer went.
  10. http://news.pickuptrucks.com/2013/02/its-official-ram-1500-to-get-v6-ecodiesel.html
  11. Well there's funky colors like Mopar's 'High Impact' colors who looks good... Then there's the Dart color selection...
  12. Or because all the one in dealer's inventories are either lime green, hunt season orange or easter blue?
  13. Can't understand the love for the ATS. Sure it's competent, but basically it's doing the same thing BMW's been doing for years, except with a 10 years old design language.
  14. Pictures are not streched, those are exlusive C-Max ST pictures :happy feet:
  15. I'm thinking about doing the same thing in black on my LX, but I fear it might looks out of place. However my tails are tinted and my hatch windows is tinted 5%. Maybe if I had pre-91 black body moldings..
  16. Could it be based on some exported Ford... Something like the Territory? You know, helping filling AUS production line and whatever... Nah I think it would be too much of a stretch.
  17. Explorer-based? Dimension would be about right. The car under the blue tarp seems to have a longer grille, a la MKR. But hey, I'm just interpreting vague tarp curves.
  18. That's what I always asked myself. At first I thought the local dealer had swapped wheels with another Edge for somebody wanting the 22''.
  19. Eh isn't this a 2012 article? Local dealer had a used '13 GT500 convertible for the last half of the summer...
  20. http://jalopnik.com/5982481/ford-trackster-an-incredible-500-horsepower-focus-with-a-stupid-name Looks cool!
  21. I love how everybody on AB praise the 'embossed tailgate', while the Super Duty had it since 2008..
