  1. :thud:I've been trying to find the wires to connect for the upfitter switches. The owners manual said it is near the fuse panel on the passenger side. I've looked and even pulled all the panels and terminal block down. No wires to be found. I checked on the Powerstroke forum and some of the guys said that it is on the drivers side. Well, I've been all up in that bad boy, removed panels and even opened up the harness. The dead end wires for termination are not there. I did find the wires, but not the ends. All of the wires, yellow, brown, green/brown and violet/green and there but they just run through the fire wall towards the relay panel under the hood. Does anyone know if there is a bulletin or any thing else I can do to use the optional switches. If someone could give me some instructions on how to remove the switches without breaking the retainers, then I could just run some wires directly from the switches. It really sucks to have paid for an option and not be able to use it.
  2. Awesome, how would someone order one of these.
  3. The plant start processing my order on June 17th, I received my truck on July 10th.
  4. OooooKay. Did you say 27 different reasons. Well you mentioned 3, what's the other 24. LOL. Sorry akirby, but I heard sooo many different excuses that instead of stressing, all I can do is smile and just laugh. What ever, sooner or later I'll get my truck. Well.......I'm waiting. What's the other 24. Joking!!!
  5. How come Ford couldn't bump an allocated vehicle for one that has been purchased. I did a pre-trade affidavit and traded in 2 vehicles valued well over 50 k. Dealer ordered these 2 trucks the same day, (Vin# 49791 an allocated vehicle is has been delivered) and (Vin# 49792 a customer purchase"paid for" not delivered). There is no reason why these 2 are weeks apart.
  6. Hey akirby, according to the Ford tracking system, my truck made it to the mixing yard before these other 2 mentioned in the above quote, yet the dealer allocated trucks were delivered first, before the CUSTOMER PURCHASED truck did, thus that is why I say FORD put the dealers first before the customer. C,mon man wouldn't you think that 2 trucks ordered the same day, going to the same dealer, having sequenced numbers 49791 and 49792 be delivered at the same time. Not weeks apart. Xplain that!!
  7. It's hard to be patience when they treat their customers this way. I've broke this issue to Ford Corporate but it has not made a difference in my delivery. Did some investigating and found out that a truck just just 1 Vin number before mine and another truck built 5 days after mine has been delivered to the dealer while mine is on a train somewhere. Seems Ford's priority is to the dealers and not the customers who have bought trucks. Anyway that's how it appears to me, but I am dealing with a small dealership. Maybe that has something to do with it. Good luck.
  8. Sounds like you need a train to haul that load of BS you putting out there. Like I said, what is the real issue here.
  9. I have a F250 that's been sitting on the lot in Kentucky for over 30 days waiting to be shipped down South. Now I've heard all kinds of stories from the hard winter caused a major back log, the shippers are holding out for more money, there is a shortage of rail cars, or there are giving priority to deliveries up North. So what is the real issue here? Shouldn't trucks that a marked as sold be given priority? You can't say its out of Ford's hands because it's at the shipper's location. Ford has hired and we have paid the shipping cost to get our trucks delivered so there are no excuses here. To the shipper, you've been paid to do a job now do it. Come on Ford! Lets give the customer what they have paid for.
  10. I would like to see Ford improve on the brakes and rotors. (Larger, ceramic, drill & slotted). Brakes they use now make a whole lot of dust , which if not cleaned regularly will ruin the finish on the rims. And it makes the truck look bad.
  11. I have a 2015 on order with the added Camper Package(4x2). Will these spring upgrades add any height to it or will it just make it stiffer.
  12. Hello my friend, I'm not sure if the dual tires come off together or independently, but when I use to do forklift repairs I handled a lot of dual tires situations where the tires where solid rubber. Get yourself a metal plate,(stop sign, sheet metal,etc...) put a little oil or grease on it and place it under the tires when jacked up. When you loosen the lugs the wheels will drop a bit. Lower the jack until the wheels just start to touch and then just slide them off. Easy as pie.
  13. How bout a blacked out edition, head lights, tail lights and windows.
  14. Congrats, hope you enjoy. Can't wait to get mine.
  15. I would like to see Ford offer performance parts for the Super Duties, CAI, exhaust systems, tuners - factory backed , brake upgrades that don't make so much dust, maybe even a super charger. Along with more exterior accessories.
