Unifor is trying to get information from Ford. I went the union meeting prior to this 3 row news of a potential delay broke out and the union said there is an extreme lack of information from this company.

They set up a small u759 training area in bodybuild in the training area. They probably have all the tooling ready. I believe the batteries are the hold up.

We went from getting 5 vehicles to 2 vehicles to uncertainty. I want to hear what Fords contingency plan is!

I’ve heard rumors of extension and I’ve also heard some say that’s not possible because suppliers were given the April 26th date. Its looks like business as usual at the plant as I see contractors onsite daily with blueprints and they’ve even installed new electrical conduits and are strengthening the roof trusses. I would like to see the Edge Nautilus continue on with the Chinese version at OAC and a new edge on that platform with a new top hat in Hybrid form of course. This is a bad situation to me, I hope it gets fixed.

This news report has now spread all around the plant and it’s the talk of the town. Prior to this news report we were told that Ford has given no information to the union leadership about this issue. Once I heard the story a month ago about them scaling back I felt we weren’t going to escape that. The union is trying to get Ford to give us some information about this, it’s the least Ford can do.

I agree with you and also have heard countless rumors in regards to what’s closing and what’s not. People in here can scoff and downplay this all they want. Ford has been way too quiet and had no product to show since 2019 in regards to these 3 row EVs. I believe this delay talk has some kind of truth to it.

It’s on a lot of these automotive sites now. It’s got me believing it’s true. Explorer dude did clearly say March 2025 but now I’m seeing this crap all over the place. I’m pissed off, can’t help it. I’m a sucker if this is just a horrible rumor and misinformation lol. I see contractors at work moving in equipment so I’m seeing things seemingly proceed as normal then I’m reading all this 3 row EV delay crap. Take it all with a grain of salt I guess and wait til we get the letter from ford at work by April 26th as to what the hell is going on!

This 3 row EV delay is now on multiple sites including car and driver, if Borg is truly wrong then his information spread like a damn virus.
