  1. Ford is just a bit too quiet on the subject of these vehicles. I truly believe something is up and there is plan changing going on. I agree with your points as they are valid.
  2. Yep, I heard it from a State contractor guy in here and other people in regards to retaining the gas line here. We will get info soon enough, it is out of our hands. I also think the edge being extended 2 years is total crap. As far as your question in regards to Employment Insurance it’s also contingent on seniority. Veteran workers get sub and EI for two years I know that much.
  3. Yep I agree and we all know that the truck and these other vehicles have been under development for years. We all know it probably takes at 3-5 years to develop these vehicles.
  4. If true at all it has to be model year 2027 and not actually in 2027. 2027 makes absolutely no sense to me for these products. I seen that pic and I don’t like what I see, it’s under tarp though so who knows.
  5. I took upon myself to message Borg in regards to his information. He is standing by this information in regards to further delay of 3 row EV. I said that I’ll take it with a grain of salt and I have a hard time wrapping my head around a 2027 timeline. I will wait til FOMOCO decides to state what their plans are.
  6. I totally agree, the information will be coming soon I’m sure. Between now and April 26 I expect Ford to go into further detail.
  7. I agree because I’m seeing tons of contractors on site doing prep work. They’re starting to bring in more materials and equipment obviously because the retool project starts soon. So his information doesn’t make sense. I don’t think there is any bad intentions either.
  8. There’s nothing to see! Ford has these vehicles under extreme secrecy!
  9. No no we can’t see anything. ford hasn’t unveiled the product. They just built one cell with new equipment in a training area for skills trades. I looked at the cell and I seen U759 on the machinery. I could take a picture but Im not risking my job. Who knows if there is anyone from Ford corporate who looks in this group. Then again probably not or maybe they would listen to some of our bright ideas lol.
  10. That won’t be happening at OAC U759/U760. I’ve already seen the U759 code on new machinery in a training room that they set up. C2 will never happen here.
  11. I just can understand why Ford doesn’t get their ass moving and get some more of these C2 vehicles over on these shores quickly. Doesn’t seem to be a priority.
  12. I think I need to relax lol. We’re done next month I expect Ford to release more pertinent information soon. Contractors are here with blueprints, so it must be still on track. I don’t believe Borg and his 2027 rumor at all.
  13. The interior was very spacious and comfortable and quiet as well. Great ride quality, the styling wasn’t for everyone though.
  14. The Flex is a solid product I’m glad you love it.
  15. Well they better do one hell of a job on the products they’re gonna replace them with then to achieve the higher profit margins.
  16. We had a production uptick at the end of flex and mkt as well. They were never high volume anyways especially the mkt.
  17. He just feels like there is a glut of 2 row crossovers. I can’t wrap my head around it either.
  18. It’s a great time to get one since you guys like the product and they’re on the way out.
  19. The only reason the Edge is selling so well is because it’s on its way out and we will be done building them soon. Maybe dealers are just stocking up on them knowing they will be obselete soon. We all know Edge Nautilus would’ve done just fine if they had made them Hybrid and redesigned them here. EV is the future, right?
  20. Jim Farley sees no use for the commodity Edge. Thankfully Ford sees the value of continuing Nautilus albeit an import.
