    Ordered: 2020 Aviator

Saw my first 2020 Explorer today, nice looking vehicle with that swoopy roof.
  2. Given Lincoln sold us two brand new 2017 cars with badly out of date maps, you'd think when the update finally came out 2 years later it would be complimentary. C'mon Lincoln, what kind of luxury experience is this?
  3. Yep, we lose money on each sale, but make it up in volume!

Having the shade control in the back is a good idea.
  5. I have both and don't see a lot of difference between the Z and X, both very nice.
  6. The sooner they separate Ford and Lincoln dealerships the better IMO. A lot of them have no idea how to sell a luxury car and have been in business so long they have no desire to learn.
  7. The Taurus is bulbous and ugly, the 500 before it worse. This has nothing to do with a Lincoln sedan. There are tons of luxury sedans being sold and Lincoln could be successful making a statement in this market. The current Conti is well rated (tops in the latest CR) but doesn't make that statement like the Navi/Avi do. They'll get there.
  8. I'm sure the dealer would do something to swap wheels if the deal was dependent on it. Personally I like the extra light a glass roof brings, and they seem to be more common these days. My wife's MKX has it and it's a great experience for the rear passengers, and if the sun gets too bright a push of a button fixes that.
  9. How about a photo of the '53? We vacation in Spring Lake every year, nice place.
  10. There is such a thing as a good tactical decision that is terrible strategy. Losing customers is not good strategy.
  11. I can tell you that if Lincoln doesn't sell sedans when it's time to replace my 2017 MKZ I won't be shopping them. And no, I don't want a high-roofed crossover. Somehow, Cadillac, Mercedes, Audi, BMW, Volvo, Jaguar, Hyundai, Lexus, Infinity, Acura, etc. can sell to this market without going bankrupt but Ford can't? Seems ridiculous to me. Might as well name it the Lincoln Truck Company and call it a day.
  12. Please no more 4-doors with cramped back seats.
  13. I agree, they need great product to get people out of the mindset that a Lincoln is a 1979 Town Car.
