  1. Can you tell me where you got the LED bulbs for the rear and front running lights? Can you provide the exact model # and costs too? Thanks.
  2. Did you check to see if the Flex console has a part # and how much it might cost?
  3. I have a 2011 Explorer Limited. I would like replace the standard Fog Lamp Bulbs with HID's that match the same color as the stock Ford HID Headlamps. What is the stock color of the HID's? i.e. 5000k
  4. OK a few questions. I'd like to put HID in my Fusion Titanium. Is DDM Tuning the best place to get HID kits? How the heck can I tell which HID kit I will need? There appears to be over a dozen to select from on the DDM website. What does it cost to replace the Headlamps and the Fog Lamps? Will they look as good as stock or with that look aftermarket (blue-ish)? What is the best bulb color to get? 5000k ? I'd like the bulb color to match that on my 2013 Ford Explorer. How can I tell what stock bulb color the Explorer uses? Does Ford typically use the same bulb color on a HID's across their model lines?
  5. Are you planning on adding it to a Sport? I ask because I like the Sport but am annoyed the console is not available. I was wondering if I could just add it after the fact.
  6. Sure you may only need to purchase the vehicle mount once but you may have to buy a new phone mount if you change your phone or even your phone case. That's just too pricey. I picked up a great mount over Christmas for on Sale for $9.99 and I love it. It's adjustable for virtually any phone and case. Sturdy and stays attached like a rock. Now it's back up to $19.99 and out of stock last I checked. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16875986115
  7. And HID's are STANDARD on the Ford Mustang now. Offered on the Edge and Explorers. Just not the Fusion. This is total BS.
  8. That review by Roman Mica blows. He says he got 8.2 sec from 0-60 mph. Really? This thing should easily be in the low 6's. Plus he said the care wasn't sporty? Really, not sport. Come on. Fast accearlation, tight handling, and sporty look. That's not sporty?
  9. My last Fusion was a 2008 with V6 3.0L 221hp and 205 ft/lbs at 4,000 rpms. I'm interested in the new 2.0L Ecoboost that puts out 231hp and 270 ft/lbs at 3,000 rpm. How come the Hyundai Sonata 2.0L turbo puts out so much more hp; 274hp and 269 ft/lbs at 1,750 rpm? That's running on regular unleaded by the way. I'm surprised to see Ford get beat out by Hyundai.
  10. I took have the rattle. Built in April and rattle started only a few hundred miles after delivery. I plan to call the Service Dept to see if they can address it.
  11. Guys, I have the same high pitched noise after turning off both my 2011 Edge and 2011 Explorer. I think it has something to do with the electronics for the My Ford Touch. The noise occurs for a couple minutes after I turn off the vehicle. I doesn't occur every time however.
  12. Where are you getting 65%? If 62% is the 12k residual then 63% would be the correct residual for 10.5k.
  13. Do you have the same figures for the 2011 Edge. I think the Edge may actually have slightly better residuals than the Explorer.
  14. Can someone please provide the Residual and Money Factor for the following? 2 year 12k miles and 15k miles 3 year 12k miles and 15k miles These are published rates by Ford but can only be obtained at the dealer. Thanks.
  15. I just picked up a 2011 Edge under the D-Plan. I leased it via RCL. What exactly is this $595 Acquisition Fee for?

    Window locks

In my 2008 Edge the window lock feature that the Driver has access to will disable the rear window controls as well as the passenger side window control. This is actually a nusance as whomever is sitting in the front seat tries to roll down the window and can't without asking the driver. I get it that the feature is basically there to keep kids from rolling down the back windows but anyone old enough to ride in the front should have total control of that window. Even if I put a 12 year old in the front and they rolled down the window I'd just say roll it back up. Chances are a 12+ year old will listen as opposed to a 3 year old sitting in the back. If not then they are still withing slappying distance and I wouldn't even have to take my eyes off the road to do it. :-) Has this feature changed on the 2010? I'm in for the 2011 and hoping they will have changed it. Plus I think the passenger should have 1 touch auto up/down as well.
  17. So what about the fog lamps? I think the Order Guide refers to them as Supplemental Park Lamps. Are those HID too if you get HID headlamp? It might look odd having HID headlamps with standard lighting fog lamps. Two different light sprectrums coming for the front of the Vehicle.
  18. Looking at the 2011 Edgr Order Guide it appears HID headlamps are NOT available on the Sport. I find this curious as I would expect most buyers who think 22" Rims, a Blackened Grill, and a lower stance would also automatically go for the HID Headlamps. I personally don't understand the benefits of the HID? Do they provide more light or is it just about looking cool? I am on the fence on HID. I will have to see both at night side by side on the dealer lot before I can decide.
  19. Nevermind I found it.
  20. Does anyone have the 2011 Edge Order guide? Please post it. Thanks.
  21. With the 2010 Edge getting 18 Cty / 25 Hwy / 20 combined, I thought this article was indicating the 2011 would get 19 / 27 / 21. Correct?
  22. This new explorer looks great. Our family has owned 4 Explorers over the years and we were pretty much done with them. I've been driving an Edge since 2008. Our lease is up in Jan 2011 and I have actually been researching the Mazda CX-9 since we really miss that 3rd row seat. This refresh puts the Explorer right back in the game for us. My only complaint really is that colored match grill on the Limited. I would like all the features of the Limited except for the grill. I suppose it wouldn't be too difficult to order that XLT Grill and swap it out. I wonder how much a grill my cost? Oh, and there is one more complaint. The gas filler is on the passenger side. I absolutely hate that.
  23. We used to drive the 2006 Explorer with the 4.0L. That put out 210 HP and 254 Torque. We were perfectly fine with its power. With the new 3.5L putting out 290 and 255 torque I suspect we will be more than pleased with its performance. It's also mated up to a 6 speed tranny now and is 100 lbs lighter. Unless they could manage to get more power out of the 3.7L with the "EXACT" same MPG then I would prefer the 3.5L. I don't want to sacrifice any MPG's givent he cost of gas and where it's surely going....again.

    3.7L V6?

I didn't mean to imply the current 3.5L is underpowered but Ford is offering the new 3.5L 285 hp and 3.7L 305 hp in the Edge which is the same weight as the Taurus. Why not do the same for the Taurus? I want more, is that asking too much?
