  1. I think F350buyer is just misunderstood. I'm sure he or she will be back soon to reply and let us all know how the F350 is. Lol
  2. Haha, I pasted this from another forum and forgot to take out the reference to akirby.
  3. Received an email yesterday from Lincoln Reacquired that my vehicle arrived at the dealership. Still some things to consider as she was not aware I had paid off my 2020 a few months ago. That changes my options, and it sounds like it is for the better. Bottom line, I may get in to this 2022 L for less than $10k. We'll see, the wife and I are calling her later for more details. Anyway, the truck delivery seems imminent now, just need to sort out these details. Unfortunately, the MSRP increase since October is my responsibility since "akirby" on BOF confirmed to me that the sales manager was correct when he told me price protection only applied to true retail orders, which mine, being in reacquired status, is not. Oh well, I still think I am getting a good deal here. Lincoln is essentially paying all TT&L, doc. fees, etc, to the tune of probably $8k+. Also, having paid off my truck moves this process from here along quicker since Lincoln Financial (or whatever they are called) is not involved.
  4. Thanks. He was pretty adamant about it. I'm still going to get a 2022 L BL Nav for under $10k. Not bad. Appreciate the quick answer.
  5. Does this apply only to true retail orders? My vehicle is in reacquire, so I did order my 2022, but I am being told I must say the MSRP on the new price increase vs. the price when I ordered in October. One of the sales managers told me this only applies on true retail orders.
  6. cyberdman says has mine has arrived in the Chicago area at a rail yard.
  7. That may end the catch can debate if that happens lol.
  8. Oh man, time to start to getting the Polaroid loaded up to post some pics... ?
  9. My cynical, but likely correct, take on all this electric vehicle stuff is, follow the money. Hard to believe this will actual save the planet, which probably doesn't need saving anyway. But, any who...
  10. Bump. Man, 1 week and I am on Page 4. Thanks, sir, appreciate it. Hoping it is on a rail car/truck. Order #1022 VIN 5LMJJ3TT4NEL04105 Thank you.
  11. My neighbor is really good friends with, and I have played with Bill Napleton. But, the dealer close to me that initially squawked about car washes was Ogden Lincoln. Fair Oaks is who I did the online survey about and who I ordered my 2022 with, even though they are 30 minutes away from me. I would do more business with Ogden but their showroom and facility is so dated and perpetually "under construction". Definitely not befitting the Lincoln name. Fair Oaks is the first Vitrine style dealership in Illinois. Very nice.
  12. Yep, I know and the Concierge confirmed it. That service writer is long gone. Thanks!
  13. Gotta go flying guys, but @bbf2530 yes definitely a BL dealership. More later...
  14. Another story about the Concierge affecting change and good results for me. 2 years ago, I took my BL Navigator, with its free any time car washes, to a local dealer. They basically told me maybe they could do it in a few hours. When I squawked about that, one of the service writers actually claimed the car washes were at their cost and they had no way to bill Lincoln for it, even though that is part of the cost of a Black Label. Fine. I called the Concierge, and, once again, politely yet scathingly described the incident, discussed how to that point the Lincoln experience was sucking, basically, and that I may have to go to Mercedes or someone else. Well, they must have contacted the GM because to this day, they welcome me with open arms and accommodate me very nicely. Oh, and on multiple occasions, the Concierge has confirmed that dealers do not pay for the car washes, that they do indeed get reimbursed by Lincoln.
  15. I agree. I have detailed my dealer frustrations in other threads. I was just saying they WILL do the pickup/dropoff and loaners, but in typical dealer fashion, they do not purchase enough vehicles to accommodate that. And,. as detailed on this forum, Ford/Lincoln can do squat about it. I don't know for sure, smarter people here can answer, but I assume dealers can use vehicles as loaners and then sell them as demos/used vehicles later on. I drive a Navigator. Luckily, my dealer has a couple as loaners. No one else in the entire Chicago area does, at least not last summer when I was checking. For me, I have gotten results by being a squeaky wheel with the Concierge and by filling out the email survey from Lincoln about a particular dealer after I had service done. It was politely scathing. Now, the dinner experience you referenced is awesome. It comes out of your points, but I had 70,000. There is a number you call, and last year, when we did it, the gal who handles it could not be more courteous, professional, and enthusiastic about it. We ate at Eddie Merlot's in Burr Ridge, IL, and the experience was seamless. Totally agree that one would think dealers would try to provide the service of the Lincoln brand and Lincoln Way. Some do, some don't.
  16. Yep, you may have to schedule service weeks in advance to get that or a loaner.
  17. The Concierge is great. But, they are not involved in the buying process. It is the dealer's that are hit or miss. Most don't have enough loaners much of the time, but they will do the pick up service. Why do you think otherwise?
  18. Ha, I now am noticing your crossed out 2021 in your signature line.
  19. I made an online review about a dealer in my area about a year and a half ago. Framed it very politely but got my point across. I received a phone call from the newly hired service manager who sort of bent over backwards to win back my business. So, online reviews can be productive as long as you don't go all crazy like @silvrsvt haha! Just kidding...
  20. I know, and it doesn't really matter except I am just saying it was rmc523 who made the initial Bronco cough comment. As a relatively still newbie here I was trying to figure out who it was all referencing for sure. Got it now.
  21. I was trying, for once in my life, to be (cough) subtle (cough) lol. Edit: Actually, rmc523 made the cough comment, but I see above how it was said silver set the bar high.
  22. Wow! What a saga. I figured it was referencing someone on this forum. Maybe it was. Just also goes to show how our posts on these forums can follow us. Be careful what you say.
