The problem I see with the Peragon covers is if anything gets under it then it may either be a pain to open, or you may have to crawl under it and move things around to open it. This also means anything you store under it needs to be short so there is room to push the cover down to make it open. Maybe it’s not as bad as I imagine it, but I have also read where others didn’t like it for these reasons.

2022 Super Duty Orders & Discussion
chadstickpoindexter replied to mrmallerd's topic in F-Series SuperDuty Forum
So for those of you getting bumped, we’re you a 9/6 build week? And if so, was you’re status already “in production” and had your window sticker? -

I see. He went back and edited the post. Still curious if he was in production yet, or just in order processing. -

So did they move it up or back? When was it supposed to be built?? And had you already been sent to production? -

My email from Ford on 8/12 quoted a build week of 9/6. CybermanD quoted a build day of 9/7, so keeping my fingers crossed! Edit, just checked and now the Ford site updated to “In production” and the link for my window sticker is up, although it isn’t available yet… maybe in the next few days!! -

They are both working for me. Good news is that earlier today my status changed to "In production" on the Mach E site, but still just shows "order confirmed" on the Ford site. Hoping the Ford site updates sometime tomorrow or the next day! -

F250 Payload Capacity
chadstickpoindexter replied to road turtle's topic in F-Series SuperDuty Forum
That should give you a pretty significant bump in payload! I recently saw a 22 on my lot that was my exact truck except mine will have the HCTT package, which bumps the GVWR up by 800 lbs. The payload on the truck here at the lot was 2362, so I am now anticipating my F250 with HCTT package to have a payload of right at 3000 lbs (instead of the 2900 I listed in the above quoted post!) I know this won't be near what you will have with a 350 7.3, but for me, this will be plenty! Of course more is even better though! lol But, I am really glad I decided to add the HCTT package just to give me that little extra. Enjoy your new truck! -

What are you getting? I'm sure you have posted it somewhere like we all have, but I can't remember... do you have AS? Or is is something else that is pushing your date back? Also, did you get an email stating your date is pushed back? -
I understand. But, whether roll up or fold up, it’s gotta go somewhere. I would rather it not roll up inside the bed like some of them, and the others will roll up on top, which also covers at least some of the window… but most likely not all. However, I don’t see myself riding around often with it all the way opened. Besides, I also have the Bakbox that will be installed so I wouldn’t need it all the way open anyway. I know though this is my preference… another one is that the hard top roll up tonneaus are typically more expensive… and these hard folding ones are already expensive!

2022 Order Confirmed...now what?
chadstickpoindexter replied to mikejones202's topic in F-Series SuperDuty Forum
Did you not get a copy of your order? It should be on the top of this sheet. -
Yes, I received a scheduled build week of 9/6 on 8/12. Also, I did have to change the color after I got a VIN and a build week. For whatever reason, when Ford scheduled my order they somehow changed the color but I caught it the same day. My dealer was able to make some calls and get it changed back even after I got a VIN and according to him nothing has changed. I am still on track for a 9/6 build week, but now with the correct color.

2022 Super Duty Orders & Discussion
chadstickpoindexter replied to mrmallerd's topic in F-Series SuperDuty Forum
I see what you mean. I had something similar happen to me Sunday on the Mach E tracker site, and now I wonder if it was something like this on the Ford tracker site and I just didn't notice it... but when I typed in my VIN and order number in the Mach E tracker site the headline no longer said "in order processing", but instead "is estimated to be delivered to dealer in NaN days." I didn't really think that was true, and after hanging out on the FTE forums for a while now and adding my info to the spreadsheet, it seems like Sundays and even Mondays are a weird day for the trackers... so I figured it was just things "updating" in the system, and different trackers eventually updating as well... I dunno... at least we have VIN"s though! -
I admit, I am guilty of changing my order a few times, but I agree with the above comment... given the amount of time we sit on these orders before they even get picked up gives us a lot of time to rethink some of our decisions... and in my case, if there were vehicles around that I could have actually checked some of these features out before placing my order (tailgate step, extended running boards and especially color... I really wanted Antimatter Blue but was afraid it would look purple so went with black to begin with... but after seeing it in person I loved it, so I changed it), I wouldn't have had to change my order because I would have chose those things to begin with. I do understand though that it could potentially make scheduling more complicated, especially now that it seems like some items are more of an issue than others, but it is what it is. I feel like Ford should have put more effort into keeping us informed along the way... even now, it's still baffling at what's going on... somebody places an order one day and gets scheduled the next, while others with almost the same order that booked months ago still waits... Anywho, I realize this isn't an easy fix for either side, but it's where we are. And it does seem like somehow mistakes do sometimes happen on orders... had I not realized that they changed my color back to my original choice I would have ended up with the wrong color truck. Sure, in this case I would have been ok with black, but what if it would have went to something I really didn't want? It does seem like there are too many moving parts...

So, on that page, if you will notice (on a desktop anyway) you can click where it says "in production," "built," "shipped," and "delivery" and it will give the selected description above (like in the screenshot you shared). But, unless there is a check mark in the corresponding circle then you aren't actually at that point yet... it's what led me to ask you about the link to your window sticker or an estimated delivery date. From what I have seen, those aren't provided until you are at least "in production." -

chadstickpoindexter replied to mrmallerd's topic in F-Series SuperDuty Forum
So I'd guess you are "in order processing" which seems to fall between "order confirmed" and "in production." This is where I am too... from some of the photos I have seen, once they send your order to the plant you will be "in production" and a link to your window sticker should show up on that page too. For kicks, if you haven't already, you can put your VIN and order number in the Mach E tracker, which shows me the actual packages I ordered (they don't show up on the Ford tracker site). Unfortunately though, the only place I see documented with a build week is in the email I got from Ford informing me of my VIN. As I understand it, sometime the week before I should get another email, this time with my build day... but we'll see! Good luck!
