  1. I actually wondered for a second about the rules. Then it dawned on me someone or some people acted in such a way for these guys that DONATE their own time to have to take the time and write these rules. I followed the directions, looked at others posts that worked and had ZERO problems. Humanity has a lot of problem makers in it. Due to that we see rules that makes a person think, what had to happen for that to actually be written down, lol. Anyway, my point of this post is to let the people that run this site know they are appreciated. Sorry you have to put up with those that feel entitled, but we all have to unfortunately. It’s just the society we live in these days. Have a great day and like I said, your efforts are appreciated.
  2. Until there is a test identifying if a sick person has the common cold, flu, pneumonia, COVID OR so on, all this is BS. The tests themselves are flawed by design. You cannot tell me the common cold, flu, pneumonia have all been wiped out and every time someone is sick it is COVID. Just look at the CDC numbers. But even with them putting every single sick person as COVID this pandemic still has the lowest numbers for a deemed pandemic in history. As for the vaccine they are pushing. It is STILL in experimental phase. Numbers for death and major reactions from vaccines are extremely higher then ever before. But yes let’s mandate everyone to take it. No thank you! You just cannot fix the type of stupid we are living with in this day and age. Just my opinions. Just like all of you have yours. Have a great day.
  3. Thank you for your time. It is appreciated.
  4. Dealer code - L28534 Order code - D111 Order date - 6/16/21
  5. Would really like to see improvements on the rear seat of the 2 door Bronco. Either make it easy to remove, have it lay FLAT to the rear storage area or simply offer a rear seat delete option. Also, take the carpet off the back for the Marine Grade Interior.
  6. Looks like scheduling started a couple days early. Saw someone had an Early September build date and received their Vin #. I’ll be happy to get my official notice for my wife’s car. She is driving me crazy, lol.
  7. My order has been switched to a ‘22. Thank you to all that contributed.
  8. I decided to call the Lincoln customer service to see if they had any additional information. They did verify all of these dates. They also said they will be building 21’s (7/30/21) before starting assembly on 22’s. He could not say when 22’s would be built. Either they will just switch straight to them when they are done with 21’s or they will switch back to Explorers for a period and then come back to Aviators. Hope this helps anyone else that may have orders in and are trying to decide. Now I have to decide if I just want to go with the 21 or wait who knows how long for them to switch to 22 builds.
  9. Balance out is not until July 30th according to what you posted previously. Could this be the reason they took the order? Now why on earth taking orders for 2 different years during any one time period (3 1/2 months) just does not make sense to me, but there’s a lot of things people and companies do that doesn’t make sense in my opinion. I’m just trying to understand the situation and what may have happened. I’m still firing my salesman for not responding to phone messages left and emails. But I want to know if I should switch dealerships as well.
  10. At this point I’m guessing he will call me to come in and change my order after June 18th. I’ll let him cancel the 21 order and then I’m walking out. It amazes me the lack of professionalism salesmen have. How hard is it to be knowledgeable about the field you work in? I always hate when it comes time to get a new vehicle. So the dealership now will miss out on a $75K Lincoln and a $55K Ford. Give that guy a raise, lol. Thanks for the information Ice.
  11. Appreciate the information everyone has been contributing. I never received a DORA (didn’t know about it before now) nor an email. Still waiting to hear back from the email I sent to my salesman. My order is still supposedly for a 2021. My salesman sells both Ford and Lincoln and he can definitely NOT be trusted, lol. Trying to be patient and not turn into a raging asshole over this with him. If they start production on 2022’s I’m going to be forced to step things up a notch. This way I don’t miss out on the short time period they make them before switching back to Explorers.
  12. I’ll definitely post when I get a response and again thank you for sharing your knowledge. In another area, what is the normal/ average Destination and delivery charge these days? This dealership is charging me $1,095.
  13. Copied and pasted in an email to my salesman. Let’s see what he does now, lol. Thank you for the information and taking the time.
  14. I called around the area (Delaware) and none of the Lincoln dealerships are taking orders for 2022 Aviators. I’m not sure if it’s an area problem or what. I don’t understand how other areas can put the orders in (since Mach no less) and my area cannot. Guess I’ll just wait until I get called that they are not making 2021’s anymore and I need to come in to make my 2022 order. I don’t see the factory setting up in June/July (their scheduled month -June 1st originally- to switch to 22’s) to make 21’s. None of this makes any sense, but that’s the Covid world we live in now. ? I’m also waiting on a Bronco, but that’s a whole new mess of problems, lol…
  15. Thank you for the information. My paperwork says 21. I’ll be talking to the dealer tomorrow.
