I ordered mine in June and it got delayed a couple times. It's worth the wait!!

For those asking about timelines, I've seen some quicker, and some slower. This was my experience Ordered: 6/9/21 Scheduled for week of 9/27 on 8/12/21 Rescheduled for week of 10/4 on 9/12/21 Scheduled to Day 10/8 on 9/30/21 Built: 10/12/21 Shipped: 10/15/21 Delivered to Dealer: 11/1/21 Picked it up yesterday!! Long wait, but love the truck!! 2022 F350 CCSB King Ranch Ultimate, 5th wheel prep, spray in bedliner, chrome package, and a few other options. NO AS

I've been towing a 5th wheel with a short bed super duty for years. I've used a Reese hitch for the Ford puck system for the last ten years and it has been pretty good. With the new truck I'm going to get a B&W because I like the dual jaws. The current one just has a single bar and I get a lot of chucking on start and stop. You'll get many people say that you should only use a sliding hitch but I have not found any occasion in which I needed it. Like stated above, the front caps of most manufacturers allow for plenty of clearance in most situations. If you are going to jack knife it over about 70 degrees then you might want a spotter, but that would be extremely rare.

That is correct, they've been building King Ranch model trucks with AS.

I don't blame you. For what we spend on these trucks, I want it the way I want it and am willing to wait.

Unless it is a King Ranch it will most likely not be built anytime soon. There is a commodity issue for Adaptive Steering on anything except a King Ranch. It appears they have not built a single Limited, Platinum, or Lariat that had AS.

Yes, friday night

Well, my truck used to tow the fifth wheel. A nice lady drunk/stoned out of her mind hit my truck while it was sitting in the driveway hooked up to the trailer. We were getting ready to leave in two days. Truck is inoperable. I'm glad I have the new truck on order already but I'm sure I'll lose money on this deal. She hit the front end right on the drivers side tire, she hit it with such force it moved the front end of the truck 5 feet. The truck and trailer were straight before she hit it. I can't find any damage on the trailer. Steering is mangled, something is bound up in the front axle, cab is not lined up with the bed anymore.

According to the tracker over in FTE, every truck that was rescheduled to 10/25 has AS.....

There are many different configurations, you can get onboard compressors with wireless controllers that maintain the air pressure you set, but they are more expensive. Or you can just put in the airbags with the valves in a convenient area and use a portable compressor to fill them to the desired pressure. Etrailer.com has many different configurations and usually has some decent prices.

sounds like like dealership didn’t enter your email into the system. That happened to me and I made them go back and do it. Got the confirmation direct from Ford immediately after they did it I had the same problem and once I called my dealer and had them check to make sure my email was correct in the system....I immediately got an email from Ford confirming my order. When my vehicle was scheduled, I got notified right away. Talk to your dealer and make sure they have your email in the system and it is correct.

In another forum there is a spreadsheet of forum members trucks that have been built. Out of the 131 trucks that are listed as built, only two have AS. Those that have AS, have continuously had their scheduled build date bumped. And as noted above, Ford has not scheduled any AS trucks in quite awhile.
