Sorry if repost but am on mobile in corn fields and not having luck searching the forums. 2020 Edge AC has gone wonky. At Max AC, 60-61 degrees, cool air comes out. Anything above that and it is warm. Its 91 degrees outside. Fan is also changing speeds every few minutes, On Auto. Saw posts about an HVAC reset but not clear if that this for a 2020. Does it? Can the reset happen while moving or does it need to be parked? AC was fine yesterday. Any way for me to check coolant levels of AC or is that a specialist only?

Told by my sales person that the Mach-E Mexico plant is about to take a 2 week shutdown, starting in the next week or so. Likely chip related.

I spoke with my salesperson who apparently didn't know any of this and then got a learning experience from her team. She says that dealer always enters them in as a 10 but then some combination of factors turned it into a 12. What the reasons were are still fuzzy but the point is, it's not a 19 like the email I originally got says it was.

So I've read throughout these posts about getting your dealer to change your priority order from 19 to a lower number (higher priority). I want to do that but I don't know if my sales person is giving me the run around, doesn't understand, is unwilling or perhaps there is a valid reason why they cannot. So I am looking for confirmation that a dealer (can every dealer do this?) can change a priority code from 19 to a lower number? If so, can I dictate making it a 10? Are there any limitations to be aware of before I go ask them to do this? This is for Mach-E, FYI.

Those days have long past. If you're an interesting target, you have to do many, many complicated things to properly secure yourself.

Is there a list of what plants are idled, whether due to chip shortage or whatever?
