  3. Ahhh Is that the one that resembles the corvette coupe of the early 2000's?
  4. F11040 \ 2881 Priority code 10 Thank you for offering this on your spare time.
  5. When you say Mach 2, as in Mustang II? I'd be a sucker for a small sporty electric commuter.
  6. How well does it operate in lower speed situations? Also, how much space does it maintain between you and the person in front of you? I'm concerned in heavy, but moving traffic, and having someone pass into your lane.
  7. After reading Fords letter on Friday, how likely is Ford to give priority to 2 door hardtop production? I think it's only reasonable to ask for that seeing as 1) it's the only 2 door top available from Ford, and 2) the standard 4 door top is the soft top. If building Bronco's is top on their list, I think this is a reasonable stance on the subject. It's a bit of a bummer to see 4 door customers have the option to wait or get a soft top, while I'm uninformed of their 2 door intentions....
  8. It's been a while since I bought a new Ford, but the more I read about other Ford launches, as well as my Bronco, I feel that Ford needs to re-consider how they communicate with customers. My big concern is that all manufacturers are going to start vehicle reservation orders, and over-promise delivery. I get that Ford can use the "COVID card" here, but I'm sensing their troubles are greater than the recent pandemic. I'm hoping that the dealers will at least get more insight of their product launches. Many are far behind on info, and it makes the process confusing to the customer.
  9. I did notice that you really need to step into the 2.3 to get strong power output. It also took my wife a little getting use to the 10 speed as well. I want to hear the long term reviews on Autoweek. I can't speak for the 2.0.
  10. We drove a 2.3 Ranger so we could have a general feel for the Bronco. The Ranger seemed to hold it's own quite well, plenty of power for our driving. I was concerned about the B pillar mass against my shoulder, but the 2 door Bronco appears to have longer doors.
  11. I wish they wrote their evaluations before being told what is in it. If V8 is burned ito their brain, nothing else will be satisfactory.
  12. My 4.6 3V had many break. After removing the manifold. i was able to spin the stud out using two 90 degree angled pics. I'm sure this is rare, but it's worth trying before taking other measures.
  13. Is it likely that Bronco will be scheduling once a month with 4 weeks of builds?
  14. Oh boy, because 300HP with low gearing isn't good enough. I'm sure someone will have a use for it. Really, I'm sure......I think, but hmmm, I don't know~
  15. I agree. Even to have some loose guideline will help someone in my situation where the vehicle that the Bronco is replacing is about to hit the grave. Others with leases have been offered lease extensions.
  16. One of my favorite Fords is the Gen 4 Explorer with the 4.6 3V V8. We purchased one new in 2008, and put 250K miles. I towed a 26' camper, many cars on car trailers and plowed my driveway with it from day 1. It still runs today, but I'v gathered too much rot to feel it's worth repairing. I recently replaced it with another 2010 4.6, with a small amount of rocker rot, repairable for sure. Looking for O.E. style rockers for 2006-2010, I discovered that they did not sell them. The Gen 3's look the same, and after ordering a set, I can confirm that they will fit as a replacement rocker. These are not the "Slip over" style. They are stamped like the original body shape and include a little bit of the dog leg. I hope this helps save a few Gen 4 Explorers.
  17. Long time Ford guy. I was bitten by the bug at age 16 when I started working for a local dealership. I delivered some interesting cars beyond the 5.0 Mustangs that were going out the door daily. I was lucky to "Lot drive" their 66 Hertz at age 17, deliver Bigfoot F250's and many Taurus SHO's.
