One of my favorite Fords is the Gen 4 Explorer with the 4.6 3V V8. We purchased one new in 2008, and put 250K miles. I towed a 26' camper, many cars on car trailers and plowed my driveway with it from day 1. It still runs today, but I'v gathered too much rot to feel it's worth repairing. I recently replaced it with another 2010 4.6, with a small amount of rocker rot, repairable for sure. Looking for O.E. style rockers for 2006-2010, I discovered that they did not sell them. The Gen 3's look the same, and after ordering a set, I can confirm that they will fit as a replacement rocker. These are not the "Slip over" style. They are stamped like the original body shape and include a little bit of the dog leg. I hope this helps save a few Gen 4 Explorers.
