Am I wrong? Don't you get rewards points when you buy a new vehicle??

I just took delivery of my new truck. Got Fordpass all setup and linked - even added my wife's Edge. The app still shows no points. How long until the points for new vehicle purchase show up? Sorry if this post is repetitive - I searched around and couldn't find anything. TIA!!!

I used the CSX tracker this morning and found out my truck (railcar) departed for Albany at 6:21 this morning (4/2) with a final destination of East Brookfield Mass. Arrival date 4/4 at 4:30pm in East Brookfield. The CSX tracker is super easy to use as long as you follow directions. The dealership is less than an hour from East Brookfield. Hoping to see my truck by the end of next week. Super stoked!!!!!

NH_Bulldog - Do you know where in Mass the terminal is? And how long has it taken from original ship date? My truck was just shipped, ETA 4/22 in CT. Curious how long yours has taken. Thanks!

Wow - ordered same day as you. Dealer called me Tuesday (2/08)telling me that they had allotments going unscheduled because of the liner and asked if I wanted to drop it. I did and on Thurs. (2/10) got a vin# and scheduled build week of 3/14. On Friday night (2/11) about 9:00pm I got an email rescheduled to week of 3/21. F350 CC SB FX4 XLT 7.3l.

Got a vin# and was scheduled for week of March 14 0n Thursday the production week date was pushed out to March 21 on Friday. So ya it worked out so far!!

My dealer just called me. I was told that Ford contacted them and said there were open slots to schedule my truck if I dropped the bed liner. If I didn’t he couldn’t say when it might be built. Also told me it was a new hold on bed liners that they just heard about today. So I dropped it now we wait…. F350 XLT premium, FX4, 7.3l, 10 speed CC, SB. Ordered 11/11/21 confirmation email same day.

Good news today - moved up to priority 13. Ordered 11/11, priority code 19, confirmation email same day???. I feel a build email coming soon?

So changing an order, dropping the spray in bed liner for example, in order to speed things up may actually be slowing things down?

My first Ford was the 1974 van in the picture. 302 v8, 3 speed on the column, Holley 4bbl, hooker headers, then on to 4 different Rangers, now an Edge which is my wife's and a '22 F350 XLT FX4 CC SB Race Red on order.

And as far as the ESP being profitable for ford - anyone who offers a service, plumber, carpenter, farmer, auto repair shop, insurance company should make a profit for providing that service. Why shouldn’t they??

This is exactly why I get the ESP on any “new” vehicles. If I can’t get the parts and fix it myself, like I can on my tractors, I don’t have the time nor inclination to try. Drop it off at the dealers and tell them let me know when it’s ready.

If the warranty covers computers, chips etc. - one malfunction and you recouped your 2250 cost.

From what I’ve read the liner problem is a difficulty in getting the product, not the actual application.
