  7. I’m wondering if they are shifting things around to batch out certain trim levels or bodies. I was lucky enough to actually be moved the other direction. I was scheduled for week of 2/21 and last night was moved to week of 2/14. Maybe they’re grouping things together? Hoping it’s a good thing.

  9. I got mine on 1/13 and it came in a few minutes before 7am Pacific time. So give it another 30 minutes at least.
  10. I ordered a 450 Lariat Ultimate in Star White on 9/28. Moved to priority 02 in November. Dropped AS, spray in bedliner, and rolling tonneau cover in December. 1/13 I was given a build week of 2/21. There’s hope, but everything depends on where your dealer placed you in priority in regards to all of the other orders they have. Also how many SD allocations that dealer has. Your dealership can answer those questions if you approach them the right way of course. They may or may not give you the info you’re looking for, but they should. You’re the customer. Just remember, most of these delays have been due to commodity constraints at the plant. Supply chain has been a mess. Be patient. We all know how bad it sucks. It’s frustrating not having answers.

  13. Yea, I hear ya. I ordered 10/1, so you’re ahead of me. My dealer told me I should have it by end of January at the latest when I placed the order. I think he was mis-informed. And I hadn’t read anything on here yet, so I wasn’t privy to all of the commodity issues and how long people are waiting. I already sold my truck and I’m just driving a little commuter car. It’s tough being without a truck. But I was trying to capitalize on the used market. Hope we both get good news sooner than later.

  15. I agree with the 6.7 becoming the new “one to have” like the 7.3 did. I have a first gen 6.7 and it’s been a great motor. I’m hoping they don’t go crazy on the redesign in 2023 if it actually happens. But I feel like every redesign has had to grow on me for a little while too. I wasn’t a fan in 2017 when the new body style came out, but partially because I loved the look of my 2013.

  17. At least you got scheduled. That’s pretty quick compared to a lot of others right now. Hope you get it built and don’t have to deal with it being pushed back any more. We’re all getting anxious and a little frustrated.

  19. Thank you sir. I appreciate all of your help reading your replies to everyone. When you say “locked in”, I’m assuming that means having a VIN and a build date on the books correct? I understand it’s going to take a while, I’m just as frustrated and anxious as everyone else though. It’s hard to see most of these issues stemming from the inability of trucks to get into the ports to move containers because their trucks are “too old”.
  20. Is it wrong for us to be asking our dealerships for this information? I feel like if I ask, I’m prying for information that they’re for some reason not giving me. I have a F450 on order, and I’ve seen your notes every week about commodity issues, but I have no idea how many allocations my dealer has or what they are seeing as commodity constraints on their end. When I called to remove AS, bedliner, and tonneau cover, the regional rep said to remove the tonneau cover and AS only. They weren’t showing the bedliner as an issue. But I’ve read here that the bedliner has been an issue for a while. I don’t want to keep prying for info, but I’m looking for some info
  21. Exactly. I have had the Ford factory rolling cover and an aftermarket cover. None of them have sealed well, mostly at the tailgate. It’s not terrible, but I had higher hopes for them when I started putting them on my trucks.
  22. Sounds like you need to ask your dealership some more questions. They have access to all of the information. It also has a lot to do with how many vehicles that dealer has on order with Ford and where they placed priority for those vehicles. They have a certain amount of allocations for vehicles too. I would ask your dealer some more questions. If they aren’t willing to answer, place another order with a reputable dealer and keep this one on order. Did you put any money down?
  23. I pulled AS, spray in bedliner, and rolling tonneau cover from mine when I was already at a priority 02. My dealer got the regional rep on the phone and she advised that those would “help speed up the process”, but mine being a 450, there are other things that are holding it up. The regional rep was able to make the changes on the phone and by the end of the day, I was back at priority 02. They can do it as long as your order isn’t “locked in”. Not sure how it will ultimately affect your place in line though. Too many different opinions to sift through on here about it. I think the moderators have put out info about how it works, but I don’t know what to believe anymore. ? Good luck. Hope we all get good news about our trucks sooner than later
  24. Yes, this is key. Need to find a Line-X or Rhino Liner shop that will back the bed mount bolts out and plug them when they spray. The lifetime warranty on Line-X is better than the 3 year Ford factory liner. I pulled it from my order too in an attempt to speed up my delivery. Still no word since I’m waiting on a 450, but fingers crossed.
