Here’s my update for the TPMS plug. Took the truck back to the dealership and they couldn’t take it in for 2 weeks. They mentioned that they might have to replace the whole harness. So I went back to my place and cut the zip ties and pulled the harness back to the rear. This gave me the extra 2 inches to make the connection. The actual TPMS pigtail was short to make the connection! My 17 truck wasn’t an issue and I’m installing this for my 05 Airstream, TPMS and the camera. Side note, when the dealership receives the box with the TPMS and camera, open it up immediately and check it in. My box was missing 2 parts.

2022 crew cab F350, 8’ bed, trying to install the new TPMS connector with the 12 bed TPMS harness. All was going well until I went to connect the plug and it’s short, about 2 inches! Didn’t have this issue with my 2017 and I’ve never been 2 inches short any other time (I knew this might come up) So I’m under the truck and there is some slack in the harness, forward of the axle! Should I take it to the dealership and let them do this or should start removing the 8 zip ties? Always enjoy doing my on installations and this is so frustrating, tried to share the photos. Planning on a trip in 10 days with our Airstream and TPMS is a must have. Next question for anyone that might know, I have the 2017 sensors still in the tires, you think they will work with the 2022? I believe that the 22 has temperature and pressure, probably will need to change these too.

Finally my new topper showed up for the long bed F350 crew cab, ordered on March 7th and installed today. This is a Leer and it’s the middle height, about 5 inches taller.

Thanks for showing these, like you have said these look great. On my 17 I had the weather tech, these Gatorback look like they would do a better job. Hopefully someone on here will chime in.

EB, Yes this would work for the Legs. Installation was easy and about 2 hours for the first one. I believe I could cut the time down on the second one.

It’s a 7.3 gasser and 3.73 gear, picked up on March 4th I’ve only driven it 56 miles so far. This coming weekend I’m planning a long drive to start the break in. I’m hoping for good fuel economy, I’ll share with all soon.

GrumpyFox, I have just ordered a BedRug for the 22. Did a lot of research and for me this should be good. Like you I have had other trucks with the plastic drop in, this was in my 03, when I took it out. The bed had worn spots with no paint and lots of rust. On my 17 I went with line x, was good but rough on knees. The trucks before these had just a rubber mat. The reviews look positive for the bedrug, I have trailers for hauling junk, so this will stay clean.

Today I have ordered a Leer mid height cap, with rails, carpet and the front opening window to clean the truck back glass. Plus the full bed rug for the 8 foot box. Just the tip of the ordering…I’ll post photos when the cap comes in, Leer said that a Branden was causing a 6 week delay. Everything I’m ordering has a delay from this guy? He needs to be replaced sooner than later.

My 22 is a F350 crew cab, 8’ bed, 4x2 non dually, loaded Lariat, camper special and tow. Thought it would have had more payload?

This WoolWax looks like good stuff, has anyone applied it themselves? Looked at their site and they have kits, just thinking about ordering a kit. I’m lucky enough to have a lift, concerned about the overspray.

Can anyone confirm that our new trucks do not come with the reduced sleeve? My dealership said that Ford has discontinued these? If so I’m looking for the best reducer? If there is such one, didn’t like 2017 sleeve, will need to upgrade the hitch’s, more money gone.

Line X in Nicholasville KY for the basic is 580.00 and 705.00 for the premium and color match is 880.00. This is for a 8 foot box.

The wait is over for my purgatory truck, did not mind the initial wait from the ordering process. Dec.4th placed the order, confirmed on Dec.9th with a build date and Vin#. First build date was 1-31, moved to 2-9 received email on the 10th that it was built! Fantastic right? Delivery on 2-14 to 2-21 super! Then the wait to be delivered 70 miles on March 4th. that is where I couldn’t understand the delay. But it is here and the wait is over, good luck on all and the ones that are waiting. I’ll post up more photos of this 1% truck that Ford built for me.

Here are extra photos with the 17, there is a difference between the ingot silver and the iconic silver. 22 is not 4x4 and it sits 3 inches lower, this was what I wanted. Gas 7.3 not a diesel, will be interesting to compare when I’m towing our Airstream. The payload is 4076 lbs, ready for any load. Only driven 40 miles, the truck cam in with 3.1 miles on the odometer. Now the decisions on the topper, air compressor, air horns, spray bed liner and more. Already have a Dash camera, highly recommended, this should be built in with all vehicles.

Surprise, surprise and my truck is out of purgatory! Checked on the truck Friday morning, no updates from Ford. Received a call from the salesman and it’s on the lot at 1:45, shows up out of no where. I had asked him to send me photos of the truck on the trailer, this is a long truck.

JT42, congratulations on the arrival of the truck, hopefully it is in perfect condition. I’ve tried to stay off of the site for a few days. My truck is still in purgatory, they say it still built 2/9/22. Shipping has disappeared on their site, was 2/14? What is alarming is no updates from Ford, I guess it the signs of our times. Blaming it on Brandon is the only release I have. Post the pictures for us to drool over, for the ones that are in Purgatory.

Rogue and JT42, following this and looked at my window sticker. The bold special order date is 01 28 22 and the date at the bottom is 02/16/2022. Not sure what these are telling us? I believe my truck is in purgatory, there’s no rhyme or reason that I can come up with for the delay. The truck shows built on 2/9/22 and shipping between 14 & 21. So as of today I’m signing off, until it shows up and I’ll post up pictures. Good luck to all that are waiting on their deliveries.

CastIron, is this truck a non 4x4? Beautiful truck, if it’s a 4x2 it’s a one of kind. I can’t believe you received your truck in Texas and they can’t deliver mine 80 miles away from the plant. Your truck was built one day before mine, I ordered a 4x2. Looking for a lower truck, my 17 4x4 is just to tall. Congratulations again on the truck, just envious!

Got to say I like that long bed, that is a truck. Hope to have my long bed crew cab soon, plus two tone silver & gray.

Tom congratulations on your truck. Your truck was built 4 days before mine and shipped out to NM and Ford can’t get my truck shipped out for a 1-1/2 hour drive? Something on my truck has to be wrong, as Captain Dave said check the trucks over. I’ll be checking every inch of this truck when it finally arrives, and before signing off on it. If anyone gets their SD’s and built around 2/9, please post them, I’m trying to be positive but they said to be delivered week of 2/14.

Zippy, congratulations on the truck, thank you posting the timeline too. Your truck was built one day after mine and I have no delivery status. Do I need to walk to the plant? This is more frustrating than waiting on the build.
