  1. It DID suck! Majorly! I wanted to cry when the dealer brought us in to go over what was being done and saw the interior completely torn apart. In the end, Ford did end up giving us an extended warranty, so there's that. Looking forward to some great camping trips with this truck. Thanks again!
  2. Thank you again for keeping us updated throughout the process! Our truck arrived at the dealer February 24 (first pic). Unfortunately, there were some technical difficulties in a 360 camera system that was not working. After A LOT of technical back and forth between the dealer and Ford, trying and replacing several parts, they FINALLY diagnosed and fixed the issue (faulty wiring part). But not before completely disassembling the interior of our brand new truck (a couple pics attached). We FINALLY took delivery March 21. (last pics)
  3. Our new truck as pictured by the dealer 8 days ago. We cannot take delivery because the reverse camera is not operating. Stopped by yesterday and they said the cable that runs the length of the truck from the rear camera was cut where it was fed through a clip or grommet. They are waiting on a new cable. Pure torture.
  4. Our truck was delivered to dealer last Thursday, 2/24. We were supposed to pick up on Friday, but salesman said the reverse camera was not functioning. Talked to him again on Monday and they tried to swap out the camera and it still does not work, so it's not the camera. Haven't heard anything since. ? So, our truck has been delivered to the dealer, but we cannot take delivery until it's fixed and they don't know what's wrong. I have nightmare visions of the whole dash being torn apart on our brand new truck.

  6. Ours has been at railyard 30 minutes away since February 5. ETD keeps getting pushed later, currently February 24.

  10. We also only had the bedliner from that list. Ordered 9/28, currently en route to dealer (almost there) eta 2/16 with the factory spray liner. I think the after market line-X is comparable in price. It’s a nice liner. Had one in our previous truck.
  11. Our truck is in transit and received below note from the dealer. So happy that they knew/recognized the price protection without having to call it to their attention. I have zero complaints about our salesperson/dealer. "The price of your truck went up by $1,235.12 for X-Plan. The good news you are price protected since it was an order."

  14. Our original order with dealer at order date shows xplan price.
  15. From our dealer on notification that our truck was built and waiting for shipment info: "I’ll provide an updated quote once I get that information." I hope he doesn't think he's changing the price. We ordered late September and haven't changed anything (which wouldn't matter anyway from what I understand.) I have the order build sheet with the Xplan price, so I'm holding them to that.

  17. F250 Ordered and confirmed 9/28, original build week 1/17, pushed to 1/24, built e-mail received 2/2! Kept original order with spray in bed liner. Now to wait for shipment...
  18. If you go to page 221 on this forum and look at the post by JAXF250, he links to a website where you can enter the VIN. It's a bunch of codes for modules "as built" into the vehicle? I have no idea if it was coincidence or not, but I tried it last night and the BCEs were populated and this morning when we checked the tracker, there were dates in our "In Production" and "Estimated Delivery" fields.

  21. Are you sure about this? I posted our vin on the vehicle status forum and cyberdman said “Was scheduled to start production on 01/27. That did not happen and you have no new updates yet.” If I go to the site you mentioned, the bce’s come up (several pages long). This is our first order, so new to all of this. thx!
