    Thank you for the update @cyberdman . Being moved to priority 02 is definitely an improvement, but I assumed that it would still be awhile before being scheduled due to the commodity issues and microchip shortage. Again, thanks for the update!

    I ordered an F450 lariat ultimate 3 months ago with a bed on it. Dealer said ford would de-tune the truck a 100hp if I ordered it as a cab and chassis, but couldn’t tell me why. Anyone know why they do this exactly?

    A man’s gotta do what a man’s gotta do. The dealer hasn’t been very helpful with my order as I was trying to drop the stay in bed liner today to see if it would help speed up the process since I’m probably gonna install a flat bed shortly after it gets built and delivered.

    Seen a similar concept on some of the new half ton rams. Looked clean and a lot easier to get something out of the bed than having to lean over a tailgate to grab stuff. My only concern is how structurally sound it would be folded down with weight on it.

    I’ve had a hard time waiting to get a vin number. Couldn’t imagine it sitting at the rail yard knowing it’s ready and having to wait for it!

    Didn’t realize the 5th wheel prep was standard on the F450’s. Was about to call the dealer and have him drop it and the bed liner. Looks like I’ll just keep waiting patiently.

    Called the dealer today and they said theirs a lot of things holding up scheduling, with the 5th wheel prep being the biggest issue.

    Mine has been ordered since November and haven’t heard a peep from anyone. Dealership can’t tell me nothing. I feel bad for the guys that’s been waiting almost a year for theirs.

    Just drove past a dealership that had a new 450 parked out front. Out of curiosity, I stopped and checked it out. 2022 F450 XLT with cloth interior for a whopping $97k. Talk about a mark up!

    I ordered a 450 on 11/08/21 and have got nothing but a confirmation email. Did you call the dealership to see what your order status was? I considered canceling mine and going out west to buy one, but can’t justify paying a 15k-20k dollar markup.

    So it’s taking a bit longer for ford to get the emails sent out if you have been scheduled? I’ve not been waiting as long as some, but it would be nice to know something since the dealership hasn’t been much help.

    The 8-12 weeks would be a miracle. I’ve had my 450 on order for 3 months as of yesterday and not a word. Dealer said the guy that ordered 2 weeks before me got scheduled a couple weeks ago. So I wouldnt hold my breath when they say 8-12 weeks

    The dealer said I should be able to add the X plan whenever it comes in. I wasn’t aware of the partnership deal when I ordered the truck last fall.

    I’m new to the whole truck ordering process and was wondering if anyone on here knew what x-plan pricing would be? The company i work for offers the x-plan partner discount. I’ve currently got a 22MY F-450 Lariat ultimate in carbonized gray that’s been ordered since 11/08/21. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
