  1. I don't know how you can do it, by it I mean stay on these forums and constantly watch trucks ordered after yours that are almost the exact same get build dates. Its completely demoralizing. Like the folks ordering in early Feb and already having build dates. I'm just going to cancel my month long trip to Alaska, cancel the various reservations I have, and leave the forums until I have it in my hands and need to look up fixing stuff or modifications. Hopefully they don't stop production in June. Good luck all, evidently we all need it.
  2. Depends on the dealership. I was working for a Toyota dealership and it would take three or four days even on custom orders. When I ordered my 16 f150 I picked it up an hour or two after delivery, salesman called me and sent a picture of it being pulled off the truck and told me to drive on out to get it.
  3. Good evening, Whenever it is least inconvenient I would appreciate the status on the following order: Order Code: 1217 Sales Code: F74411 22 F350 7.3 10 speed CCLB Blue Thank you for your assistance,
  4. How does the 6.2 do towing? Considering backup options if my truck doesn't get built because I won't want a 23. There are a couple nice and low priced 6.2s locally with the 10 speed.
  5. Had the dark blue on my 13 f150 and loved it, gem green on 16 f150 and liked it more than the blue, and blue on the f350 on order because gem green isn't available. Wife wants me to get it painted gem green at a auto shop when it arrives, but I'm not made of money. Of the options you gave I like carbonized gray more
  6. Or its fake news trying to spook people into buying sooner. ATT did this with the end of the 3g network. They knew I wasn't going to happen for a year but they kept sending out letters telling people it was happening the next month and that they had to buy a new phone or lose service. We got three of these letters telling us we had days to order before it was too late.
  7. Sure would like to get one, I'd probably buy a truck now instead of waiting if I saw one I liked which is I assume their intended purpose.
  8. F250 for some reason doesn't allow the 7.3 373 combo, so I ordered an f350 that allows it. So I assume you were 250?
  9. I spent some time working in a regulator office. Anything that can hold up a job making an essential product would also be considered essential. In principal I agree with you, but if a city were to be unable to procure a new truck to keep the plows rolling and complained about a 10k markup the office I worked at would have taken the complaint seriously. I'm surprised an overzealous regulator hasn't done so already.
  10. Well if this is why my 7.3 is taking longer to get scheduled then so be it. Honk honk
  11. So my experience wouldn't change? My only complaint with the current market is that every dealer near me had a 5k market adjustment and then made it 10k within a few days of one another. Yet the same practice if done milk or wheat farmers would get slapped for price gouging and collusion.
  12. 2016 SCLB f150 with the 5.0 and the 331s if I'm doing any steady speed between 35 and 65 I get 28 or so hand calc'd. Stop and go in town gets me absolute shit at maybe 12. I currently have a 7.3 on order with 373, which I'll get an aux gas tank in the bed for and probably only end up using for towing. At the price I'm ordering a new one at I can keep the 16 f150 for weekend country drives. I kind of want the 6.7 because I feel like a diesel aux tank would be safer in a rollover, but I don't want to deal with the maintainence and my wife doesn't like diesels. She says they smell bad and their drivers won't stop revving their engines in the pharmacy drive through trying to make her heart go pitter patter. At the end of the day if ford doesn't build me a 22 I'll buy any I can find on the lot with any engine because I don't like the look of the 21 f150s at all.
  13. On the bright side at least your are scheduled, which in theory means they have parts enough allocated for you?
  14. Yeah I will be. At this point I'm stuck if I want any hope of getting a truck by June, and can't really afford to make another nonrefundable deposit. Its really a shame because the same salesman I have now was great in 2016.
  15. Wondering if it would be possible to add the mirror cameras to a truck that did not come with them, and what all would be required. I found some damaged mirrors I could harvest on the cheap to get the needed mirror camera parts, but I don't know about the rest. Is it a plug and play thing (maybe some forscan needed?) or are there internal components missing as well. This would be for '20+ XLTs Thanks,
