  4. So I got some clarification from the dealer. Apparently, according to them, you have to have an active PCO when the order is placed OR when vehicle is delivered. I have had two PCOs while waiting for my truck. My order was placed 10/4. First PCO was valid 10/5/21 - 1/4/22 (yes, literally missed by one day). Second PCO is valid 1/4/22 - 4/4/22. So, with my truck scheduled to be built next week, my second PCO will be expired by the time the truck is delivered. Doubt I’LL be lucky enough to have a third by delivery. That said, I’ll call the ford marketing number and ask them to extend. I fully expect them to direct me back to the dealer. Dealer said when truck is delivered they can ask their ford regional guy to extend but no promises. Was sort of counting on this $3k…hard to believe that the order/build/delivery process has been so long that I miss a 6 month window of PCOs.
  5. If this question was for me, I had the Bakflip on a long bed F150...didn't tow a 5th wheel with that but I hated the BAK flip. When I was towing a travel trailer, I had a bike rack that sat in the bed of that F150 which was great but I hated not being able to see out the back window so I would take the Bakflip off and on - never again. The Revolver (rollup style) is perfect for me, and it'll be one of the first things I get when my '22 comes in.

Hi all…just checking in. I have a 22 F350 on order and have had many Fords. My daily driver is a 2017 Ford Fusion Energi! Looking forward to the new truck!
  8. How do you know when the Energi batteries are starting to lose efficiency? I know they’re not as efficient in the cold, but it seems like they’re hardly charging and that the little bit of charge doesn’t last. I have 60,000 miles on it. Is there a diagnostic that can be run?
  9. Agreed! It’s a silver lining to dropping the black appearance package to get built sooner….I switched to sport tremor with power running boards. Super excited and am struggling to remain patient!
  10. That’s actually pretty cool…does anyone have this? Wonder if it would be more of a novelty that would get old after awhile….
  11. Wow…that color matched liner looks amazing! I dropped the factory spray in liner from my order to move things along and the dealership is an authorized Rhino dealer. Maybe I’ll rethink that color match, although antimatter blue may not be noticeable!
  12. Here is a pic of the BAK revolver X4 on my truck in the rolled up position with hitch.…
  13. I have an antimatter blue CCSB on order with the Baja interior…loving that combo! Thanks for these pics!
  14. Sheesh…I’m happy for you but jealous AF! LOL. I ordered 10/4, have a build week of 3/28 (pushed back 3 times). Ugghh…hard to be patient and optimistic.
  15. Extended warranties are largely for peace of mind; especially given the pricing on these new trucks. That said, I think pricing from places like Flood and Granger (quoted) are very reasonable. A couple of other points that may not have been noted on my quick scan are that you can cancel and get a prorated refund (if/when you trade or sell the truck) or if you're not ready to buy the extended warranty when you purchase the truck, you can pick it up down the road within reason (miles/age).
  16. I had a drop in liner on my old F150 and it was 'fine'. Then I had the spray in factory liner on my next two trucks...worlds better than the drop in liner. I had absolutely no quality issues on either of the two trucks with spray in liners and was extremely happy with them. I have no experience to directly compare them to linex or rhino but the factory spray in more than suited my needed. I would not choose a drop in again.
  17. I live in PA but right on the PA/MD line. Gas is more than 50 cents cheaper a gallon in MD because of the astronomical gas tax in PA (third highest in county, if I'm not mistaken). I filled up my car this morning for $4.05/gallon (with 0.10 royal farm discount) in MD (would be $4.79 in PA). Interestingly, gas has dropped 15 cents per gallon since last thursday!
  18. I plan to finance....great credit but worried about rate hikes upcoming if fed raises rates!
  19. The BAK Revolver (roll-up type) series most definitely work. I had this on my F350 dually and had no trouble towing my 5th wheel....not sure if a short bed would cause problems but I doubt it would. The absolute best part of the roll-up type tonneau cover is the ability to see 'over' it (i.e., out the back window) when open. I had the bak flip on a previous truck and it was either not open the whole way or stood up against the back window which was maddening.
  20. I think a complicating factor is the number of people that ordered multiple trucks from different dealers in an effort to hedge their bets and hope one gets built sooner. Many dealers don't seem to be requiring deposits which makes it a no risk option for people placing orders. Especially considering that the consensus seems to be that dealers don't mind if someone backs out and they get to sell the truck on the lot.
  21. I have one for $3000 that expires 4/4. My F350 is scheduled to be built the week of 3/28 so I'm hoping it goes into production in time to use it! Edited to add that my dealership said they can't apply it until I have a window sticker/invoice.
