Sounds crazy, but my order is only 10 weeks old. Probably have at least a dozen more to go. I did agree to not order spray in bed liner and reluctantly agreed to drop the fifth wheel prep a few weeks ago (I regret that). These can be added later (at higher cost). But AS can't (to the best of my knowledge). I will not drop AS. So we'll see if Ford can deliver.

It won't turn better than an F150, but towing/parking an RV as well as using a snow plow, I'd consider it a must have. But that's me.

If I were to get a F450, I might forgo it. When traveling with a fiver, I'm sure the F450 turn cut won't wear on my arms like an F350 which seems to take ten rotations (exaggeration) on a sharp back up.

I just received a $2500 PCO. Must pick up by July 5th. I ordered Feb 12 a loaded Lariat dually. I imagine it will expire before I get a truck. If I recall, dealer said X-Plan and price protection, OR X-Plan and PCO. No stacking of price protection and PCO. Not crazy about that since both of those, to my knowledge, are Ford dollars, not dealer dollars. Again, the PCO will probably expire so maybe it's moot.

I had it on a 2018 F350 dually. I now have a 2020 F350 without it. Ordered a 2022 F350 and there is no way I am willing to drop AS. To me, it made a big difference. Especial with the long bed and the steering radius of the F350. I dropped the 5th wheel prep and spray in liner. I know they will want me to drop AS next but I'm having no part of it. If that means a 2023MY, so be it.

Wow that camera looks great. I have the yaw sensor installed but I think I will have a look at the camera kit.

I don't mind adaptive cruise when towing the fifth wheel. I pay the same amount of attention to what it's doing as I do not towing.

I'll stop here. But if you look at the posts, it was not me suggesting oil changes to begin with. I made a tongue-in-cheek reply to the poster that DID suggest the oil changes as compensation. You're beefing with the wrong person. I never suggested that I would want it or ask for it. I didn't suggest it, nor did I imply I would seek compensation FOR ANYTHING. Enough already, go chew out the poster that suggested it. Yes, it is crotchety, angry actually, because you didn't reply to the person suggesting it in the first place. I am not THAT guy regarding entitlement.

Perhaps the average customer, not associated with the nuts and bolts of vehicle retailing, wouldn't know this. This includes myself. Apologies to everyone for the oil change posts that made everyone's hair stand up. Wow.

That's why I asked about the Bakflip on an 8' bed with ta fifth wheel hitch. I have an expensive Retrax Pro now, and do not like that it is non removeable and it takes up bed space. Not much space taken, but if something slides into it, the canister can be damaged resulting in poor or no operation. I will not do that one again. If the Bakflip lays flat on the last section while clearing the fifth wheel hitch, I don't think it will have any worse a view than the roll up. I cannot think of a need for the Bakflip to be folded against the window. That would suck.

Wow. Okay. Jeeze. I was thinking more in the lines the dealer would be reimbursed from Ford. And it was meant as a somewhat humorous response given the price of oil changes for a 6.7. Put the knife down.....

Was the Bakflip om a long bed? I thought you could fold to the last panel and latch to clear the hitch without it propped against the rear window.

Is there a way to find out if your order was COVP verified without contacting the dealer? On order sheet anywhere?

A couple oil changes on a 6.7L is pretty good compensation!

It's not you. A ton of options are gone. I think it's to prevent any more MY22 being ordered that they can't build. So if you want basic, or at least devoid of many bells and whistles, it's still orderable.
