2023 F250 Suspension/Handling Concerns
NH_Bulldog replied to Hahnster's topic in F-Series SuperDuty Forum
Our 2022 has the snow plow prep and the FX4 package. We went from an F150 to our F250 and have never had any issues or complaints with ride or handling whether unloaded or hauling our 11,500 lb. 5th wheel. -
2005 F350 Intermittant Red Battery Light on Dash
NH_Bulldog replied to HollywoodBoiler's topic in F-Series SuperDuty Forum
The battery light isn’t really a battery light, it is a charging system light typically indicating your alternator is getting ready to die. It wouldn’t throw any DTC’s. -
2022 F350D battery is going bad
NH_Bulldog replied to road turtle's topic in F-Series SuperDuty Forum
The batteries in our 2022 both started showing signs of leakage at the tops with corrosion at the hold-down brackets and terminal posts. We replaced them both with sealed AGM and they have been great -
7.3 Godzilla Oil Pan Replacement Book Time
NH_Bulldog replied to texascrude73's topic in F-Series SuperDuty Forum
The “Lemon Law” is there to address numerous and repeated issues with the same thing failing or the dealer/manufacturer failing to fix it correctly over and over again. A single event/one time issue isn’t in scope for the Lemon Law. I don’t see the oil pan removal to be overly complex, so the delay is likely due to scheduling or parts availability. Did you ask the dealer why it is supposed to take so long? -
2025 Supercab Lariat trim going away

No leather in Lariat trim level either, you can’t even option it -
IDS reset to fix turn signal indicator !
NH_Bulldog replied to EB1959's topic in F-Series SuperDuty Forum
Sharing my follow-up. Replaced the lower driver’s side bulb (3157) and the dashboard turn signal indicator reverted back to normal operation. Thankfully no need to do a reset or battery disconnect. -
IDS reset to fix turn signal indicator !
NH_Bulldog replied to EB1959's topic in F-Series SuperDuty Forum
Same here, it’s been bugging me for weeks. I checked all the parking and turn signal lights, but never thought of the brake lights. After reading this I went and checked and sure enough the lower brake bulb is out. I will pick up a new one tomorrow and see if it will reset or if I have to do it manually -
Sleeve to convert 2.5 inch hitch to 2 inch hitch
NH_Bulldog replied to RbrtLls's topic in F-Series SuperDuty Forum
They used to be included. My 2022 came with one. If they cut costs and no longer come with the truck, they are cheap enough to pick one up just about anywhere you can buy auto accessories -
New York State Window Tint Law
NH_Bulldog replied to tricountytrail's topic in F-Series SuperDuty Forum
Where/how does New York fit into this? You mentioned Wyoming (WY), so I can’t seem to connect New York to this. Anyway, 70% transparency means 30% tint, so what is the issue, since in NY it is compliant? In Wyoming, the law says 72% transparency (28% tint), but the label says 70% minimum, which means it could be in compliance if someone wanted to test it. -
What is this plastic "plug" called - truck bed
NH_Bulldog replied to Rvrrat's topic in F-Series SuperDuty Forum
Ahhhh, yes. That is where the ProPower module resides. I forgot that it was available on the new models. -

NH_Bulldog replied to Rvrrat's topic in F-Series SuperDuty Forum
Not sure what that is. I don’t have anything like that on my 2022 -
When my OEM Wranglers wore out at 25,000 miles I replaced them with BF Goodrich All Terrain TA KO2 and they have been great. We tow an 11,000 lb. 5th wheel and it is a firm and stable ride.

2023 F350 No zerk fittings on half shafts????
NH_Bulldog replied to Rene's topic in F-Series SuperDuty Forum
The only grease fittings I have ever seen up front are on the outboard front u-joints. I grease mine every time I am under there changing the oil -
It is a common issue, and unfortunately one that can’t be addressed on the Ford side, it has to be resolved with the radar detector. Keep in mind that there is an FCC Rule 15 that states in part; this device may not cause interference and must accept any interference received even if it causes undesired operation. In other words, you have to desensitize your radar detector or live with the false alerts.

Really not sure what a 2024 F450 owner’s manual reference to a tailgate step has to do with the OP’s 2020 F350 and unloading of a golf cart from the bed?

That looks like an aftermarket hack job, what is that contraption mounted on the roof?

2023 F350 clunking noise from rear
NH_Bulldog replied to Bob Moore's topic in F-Series SuperDuty Forum
I know about the 6.8 gas “Son of Godzilla”, and the 6.7 diesels. But the OP stated 6.7 gasser in his first post (which I quoted to memorialize it) and then he went back and edited the post to change what he wrote from 6.7 gasser to 6.8 gasser -
2023 F350 clunking noise from rear
NH_Bulldog replied to Bob Moore's topic in F-Series SuperDuty Forum
Never heard of a 6.7 gasser? Anyway, Some vehicles have an issue with slip-bump, which is the driveshaft not having proper lube in the splines where it fits into the transmission. -
I have never seen a Super Duty with the Easy Fuel capless filler, and I am not sure if it can be added. Part of the reason is that the Super Duty line can come through as a striped chassis (no bed) and the capless filler port needs to be protected from the weather and has a rubber seal around the fuel door. It might be able to be added with enough time, money and modifications, but I haven’t seen it (yet).

Feedback Truxedo X15 soft vs Sentry CT on Super duty
NH_Bulldog replied to CCrider's topic in F-Series SuperDuty Forum
The hard roll is inside the bed rails and takes up 6” or more of bed space with no give. The soft roll is above the rails and can be squished if necessary, but really has no impact on bed length. I previously had a hard tri-fold that I could just disconnect and remove, but that left the bed open on trips once the cargo was taken out. I currently have a Truxedo TruXport and does everything I want and need -
HELP! Howling Noise From Front Right Corner
NH_Bulldog replied to Adirondex's topic in F-Series SuperDuty Forum
I would suspect a wheel bearing, or If you have a 4x4, maybe a u-joint or a bent steering knuckle. If they didn’t do an alignment with the new tires, you need to watch tire wear. -
23/24 Super Duty "Auto Hold" feature, anyone?
NH_Bulldog replied to Mylriahd's topic in F-Series SuperDuty Forum
Keep in mind that auto hold is different from hill assist. I hated auto hold on my other truck and turned it off after the first use. -
I just experienced this for the first time the other day. It started working again after about an hour and about 50 lock/unlock cycles, pushing the tab down, working the inside door handle, pushing the button back down, over and over. Then tried the power unlock and it worked okay again. Hopefully it doesn’t come back! I had to apologize to my wife because she was getting in to drive and I couldn’t open the passenger door and I thought she was playing with me…….ooooops
