  1. This forum is for production week scheduling information. If you're looking for order status or produced vehicle tracking information please make your request in the appropriate forum.
  2. Ford's been making the same mistake over and over again in not updating product. Then it goes stale, not competitive any longer, sales drop and they wonder what happened.
  3. If you're referring to the 2022MY Lincoln Aviator, the most recent information shows a scheduling start date on 06/17/2021.
  4. SCHEDULING TOOLBOX - SCHEDULING PLAN This is the tentative scheduling plan for the production period. This is just a guide for scheduling. This information is tentative and may change at any time. THIS INFORMATION APPLIES TO UNSCHEDULED ORDERS ONLY. Blue Oval Forums_Production Week Scheduling_2021-06-07.pdf
  5. If your vehicle order is for a Fleet, none of the retail priority codes apply as the Fleet order and scheduling process is a separate process and not related to any of the processes or procedures applicable to either stock or retail orders.
  6. Ford notifies Dealers when scheduling is done later than Thursday.
  7. So glad to hear that you got the information you required! It so unfortunate that you couldn't get the same information from your Dealer and had to call Ford. In normal times, most customers that place factory orders just wait until the dealership calls them to tell them that their vehicle arrived. It's the enthusiasts that want more information than dealerships provide. It gets very frustrating for me to constantly hear stories about the poor customer service and outright lies that Dealers tell customers. Just give customers the information they request, give them straight answers and you'll earn their respect. I used to run a Vehicle Visibility report, showing the updated status, for every retail and fleet order at my dealership which was distributed each morning to the General Manager, Sales Manager, Finance Manager, Fleet Manager and the Fleet Manager. In addition, the information was available to every sales representative each day so that they'd know the status of their customers' orders and could keep them updated. And because I also managed the new vehicle order bank and ordered every stock, retail and fleet vehicle, I often dealt directly with customers to answer questions and advise them of changes to consider in order to expedite scheduling when their original specifications were likely to cause long delays in scheduling. And in cases where the customer couldn't change order specifications, there were contacts I could use to get an order re-prioritized to "01" to expedite scheduling and/or get exceptions made to commodity issues.
  8. I doubt very much that Ford's going to start shipping vehicles with microchips to be installed at the dealership. There's just too much risk of the chips being stolen if they're in the vehicle but not installed. And if they're going to have dealerships install chips, they'll ship the chips separately, directly to the dealership, for installation in the assigned VIN number.
  9. You're either talking to someone at the dealership that doesn't know their business or the Dealer is simply lying to you. Find another Dealer! When the USOB (Unscheduled Order Bank) opens at the beginning of the Model Year, all order configurations, specifications, etc. can be submitted. While there are commodity/option restrictions each week, the commodity issues change each week based on plant restrictions, supplier availability and a number of other factors. Unless your order is in the USOB it has no chance of being scheduled and if you wait for commodity issues, possibly affecting your order, to clear... your order still won't get scheduled because there will be other retail orders ahead of you and take up the Dealer's available scheduling allocation. The original order date can be a determining factor at times in getting an order scheduled.
  10. Once a vehicle is released for shipping and actually loaded on a rail car, the average transit time is approximately 14 days for delivery.
  11. Find another Dealer! The sales representative either doesn't know what he/she is talking about or just flat-out lying which is not a good way to start a business relationship. The WBDO (Web Based Ordering System) will display X Plan prices. The Dealer just has to select "Display Plan Price" in the price display option. In addition, Plan prices are available for any order placed or just saved in WBDO regardless of the order status.
  12. Status changes show quickest in the Vehicle Visibility system but may take a short time to propagate through the other related ones.
  13. If you have a VIN number, the vehicle is scheduled! It can't be scheduled without a VIN number and with the VIN number it can't show an "Unscheduled/Clean" status.
  14. You're probably entering the Dealer sales code wrong. Different Ford systems use different versions of the sales code. A Dealer with code 13B200 (Region 13, Zone B, Dealer #200) may need to be entered as 13200 in some programs and F13200 in others. Yeah, you'd think the code would be used the same across programs but it isn't... welcome to the world of Ford!
  15. No. The order number stays the same for the entire order history.
  16. No problem! Preview is just what the vehicle order display page is labeled in the WBDO system. The one thing I wish Ford would do is include the original order date.
  17. And Ford's $16.00/share close was a nice reaction to the sales report.
  18. The production week is assigned at the same time the vehicle is scheduled and the VIN number assigned. Your Dealer can look it up in Vehicle Visibility.
  19. Scheduling is usually done on Thursday's only.
  20. There is no such thing as a "preliminary" order number.
  21. Having managed the order bank for my dealership for nearly 35 years, I can understand how anxious many of you are to see your 2022 Super Duty retail orders get scheduled. There are a lot of factors involved which some of you will better understand by reading the information available in the Ford Vehicle Ordering & Scheduling Process forum. https://blueovalforums.com/forums/index.php?/topic/63667-ford-vehicle-ordering-scheduling-process/ Your retail order can't get scheduled unless your Dealer has available scheduling allocation and the order still must meet any applicable commodity restrictions. For example, for the New York Region, orders that were not already previewing for scheduling were restricted to those equipped with the 7.3L engine. The WBDO (Web Based Dealer Ordering) system sets the retail priority code to "19" by default which many Dealers don't pay attention to. Dealers must manually adjust the priority code to 10, 11, etc. for your order to have a lower desired priority for scheduling. Again, your order must meet any applicable commodity requirements to get scheduled. The commodity issues change on a weekly basis so sometimes you just have to be patient!
  22. For the New York Region... best availability for scheduling 2022MY Super Duty orders this week is with the 7.3L engine.
