  1. Right side air curtain is a two person job. One person picks the air curtain, scans it to the truck and hands it to the second pereson through the liftgate. Second operator takes air curtain from first and locates it to the roof via two "hooks" it is then secured with three bolts to the side of the truck at the A pillar, one at the B pillar and one at the c pillar. The operators usually work it out amongst themselves for a "rotation" schedule. Which poly paper job? There are four, one for each door. The fronts usually mirror each and the same for the rears.
  2. You know it's easier to tear something/someone down than it is to raise/bring someone/something up.
  3. Not when it comes to rear axles. The Expy and Navi have an IRS, while the trucks use a live(solid) axle. Now the gears inside are the same between the two. So that might be where the problem lies. The fronts are the same for the Expy's/Navi's and the F150's.
  4. Most if not all will be placed somewhere. Those going to Dearborn won't be released until Apr 27th when Truck goes to one shift.
  5. News to me on parts shortages. We've haven't had any early quits due to shortages. Me thinks a dealer is full of it. Have a VIN?
  6. I'm down for a SHO just leave the Marauder wheels off please.
  7. Start buying Vaseline. This will hopefully alleviate the ass fcking we are about to receive. :whipped: :banmolest: :rip:
  8. Seems Ford has done something, right or wrong, the name change has piqued a lot of interest. Look how many topics are floating on BON alone. As some have said,"Can Ford leverage/market it in a good positive way?" Time will tell. BTW I'll take a 325HP AWD SHO.
  9. Thank You guys for buying and enjoying the product I help build.

Ford should just build this bad boy. Click on prototype donut video.

  12. Is that taps I hear playing in the background or the fat lady warming up?
  13. 'Course the shift reduction will take place in Sept. All the other plants get placed, we get laid off with nowhere to go.
  14. I don't know about you but I'm a shareholder as I'm sure others are on this board and I sure in the hell don't want jobs outsourced. What are you saying we should be the top third world country? Sounds a lot like the case of the haves and the have nots. Guess you should change your screen name to Gordon Gecco, cause "Greed, for the lack of better terminology, is good. Greed is right.
  15. And we'd all shit ourselves if this came to fruition. Never under estimate a determined man. People 100+ years ago thought the horseless carriage was never gonna work.
  16. Guess people do take this board a little too serious. All I know is that Ford is gonna do what Ford needs to do regardless of we, the UAW or anyone thinks to right it's operations.
  17. Maybe we're all shitting in one hand and wishing in the other.
  18. For all those that say "Hey Ford just dumped X amount of dollars into our plant. They won't, can't shut/close/lose a shift here." Got news for ya, take a business course and look up taxable depreciation. If Ford spends X amount of dollars and and closes a plant earlier thay can write it off a loss. It's a little more complicated than that but it gets the point across. Let's say Ford spends 500 million to keep a plant viable for another 25 years but 7 years down the line thewy close the plant, Ford gets to write off a 360 million dollar loss. As far as MTP goes.... we'll see. Someone somewhere knows what's going on and I have a feeling it's alot closer to the plant level than most people think.
  19. Could be. They killed the name before, Lumina ring a bell? There has been speculation a the Chevelle name returning. Until something concrete turns up all we're doing is pissin in the wind.
