Roadrunner
Look at that: http://jalopnik.com/cars/assets/resources/...02/73310638.jpg And then compare to that: http://www.autoblog.com/2006/11/29/la-auto...scape-revealed/ Does this mean that the Escape can be had without that silly chrome chin that uglifies the car? The Escape looks pretty good without it, IMHO. The color of the Escape used for Mitt's announcement -- that's not titanium green but the other green available on the Focus and Mustang, right? -- looks good too. mackinaw
Depends what model you get. I think the fancy one comes with the body-colour bumper.
keoni
Isn't that green one the hybrid? When Ford released images of the hybrid Escape, Mariner and Tribute they were all green. Is that Ford's attempt at differentiating the hybrid? Comes only in Kermit green.
05fordgt
Isn't the chin an option..? The optional Chrome Appearance Package gives the car the chrome upper and lower grill, chrome liftgate garish, chrome roof rail inserts. The chrome (upper) grill is standard on the XLS, and XLT. When you get the limited, you get a body colored grill. If you don't want the lower grill, don't order a limited with the chrome package. Mark B. Morrow
The Escape is the Hybrid. That was the point of having it there.
