An Interesting Poll on CNN today

The CNN website has a daily poll question as some of you I'm sure already know. Today's question is "Do you drive US Made Automobile". 53% answered in the affirmative with over 12,000 answering so far. So get over to CNN.com and throw your two cents in.

Now the downside is I'm sure all the Camry and Accord owners voted in the affirmative as well since those cars are technically made in the U.S.

The same could be said for DCX which is a German company, and has been from 1998. This is becoming clear to more people as of today. Ford and GM are the 2 only American car companies.

The question is poorly worded - I didn't vote since both my Grand Marquis and my wife's Corolla were assembled in Canada.

They actually need 4 choices:

1. US Built, US Company

2. Foreign Built, US Company

3. US Built, Foreign Company

4. Foreign Built, Foreign Company

I know most would prefer choice 1 but the greater majority would now be 2, 3 and 4.
