pictor
Did any one see Fox's ON THE LOT last night. One of the Directors made a small film using an Edge as a chase vehicle. Best advertisement yet I have seen for the Edge, and Ford didn't even pay it.
Meelaan
Did any one see Fox's ON THE LOT last night. One of the Directors made a small film using an Edge as a chase vehicle. Best advertisement yet I have seen for the Edge, and Ford didn't even pay it. I saw it, and trust me--it's paid for. That's called "product placement." Do you think it was simply coincidence that a huge Ford blue oval logo was in the shot when the cop's talking to the salesman? Just as Ford has a promotional agreement with American Idol, so too do they have a partnership with On The Lot. Every car in those videos (I can't call anything two minutes long a "film) was a Ford vehicle. There was a Focus and a last-gen Taurus as well. Going_Going_Gone
Just happened to be watching Dirty Jobs on Discovery Channel yesterday. There was a F-150 FX-4 crew cab pickup prominantly displayed in the background as well. I guess Mike Rowe must have a rider in his contract with Ford to feature background shots of pickups. Since he is the producer of Dirty Jobs, it is a no-brainer.
Roadrunner
This is a smart way for Ford to do things.
