Pioneer
The five office visit is only for people that are in an area that loses HMO or PPO coverage. The letter specifically states that less than 1,500 current employees, retirees, or dependants would have to be enrolled in the area for this to happen. This does not effect (IMHO) standard HMO and PPO coverage. I will ask about this at my informational meeting tomorrow.
VDTRANSMAN
When do you expect to read your local agreement or haven't your local reached one yet? You might want to ask your commitee person if it will be in there. Havent reached a local agreement yet, but I guarantee there wont be any IMT language in it. Seriously, there is no way in hell it would pass here.
lepskilledtrades
What happens to the pilot programs for skilled trades in effect if the international contract gets passed? Are you refering to IMTs? If you are there are no more IMTs to be explored. Your IMT program is done. Your location can follow the guidelines within appendix J .............no more STP or lopsided helping hands. The part were no new skilled trades classifications are allowed. 22 skilled classifications no exceptions Also how can you have a pilot program inacted without the union members voting on it? I don't know How do you get around it? I don't know
