68Cougar
I guess if anybody left that wants one, better get on it. Article
NickF1011
No surprise here. The Monaro was already discontinued after the '05 model year. Holden wants to clear out the GTO so they can build more Commodores on that assembly line (they no longer share the same platform). Even if the GTO sold relatively well, chances are it woulda been axed anyway to please Holden.
630land
Anyone who thinks Ford simply can import Aussie Falcons to 'save them', see above. Supposedly a new GTO will be shared with the "2010 Camaro" platform. I put in quotes since there is no official word, yet.
Paul Selby
I guess if anybody left that wants one, better get on it. Article Our local Pontiac dealer still has 7 '05's and 2 '06's. I find this hard to believe but I hear some dealers still have unsold '04's. I know I'm the odd man out here but I like the GTO. If I wasn't such a tight wad I'd buy one. Feel free to laugh at me. I hate to admit it but I would take one (minus those silly looking hood scoops), they are practicaly giving them away these days.
Drake
I went and looked at one. For the money they wanted it looks too much like a hopped up Cavalier.
