He said that this will be the car we should of built in the first place. Is it going to have just the ecoboost or do you think it will be more. According to posts else where on these forums, no it doesn't. Not only that, but last summer's "upcoming product plans" issues of Automotive News, in the issue on Ford Motor Company, stated unequivocally that all their supplier contacts who were quoting on parts and/or tooling for the 2010 Taurus had no Mercury Sable counterpart to the Taurus in any of their parts quotes. Nor, aside from this current refresh of the Mariner and 2009 Milan, there are NO new Mercury products in the pipeline. In case you haven't noticed, there is no Mercury counterpart to the Ford Edge, nor the upcoming Ford Flex. Lincoln is getting all of the product planning dollars.
