In Nov, I will put my faith in John McCain. With national security being the most important issue we have, I cannot vote for any canidate who did not have the guts to serve in our military. The CIA (led by an appointee of a Democratic president), assured us that Iraq had WMD. England’s intelligence agencies assured us that Iraq had WMD. But Obama is proud of the fact that even though other Democrats voted for the war, he was against the war! What about next time? When the United States suddenly packed up and left Vietnam, thousands of innocent people were left at the mercy of our enemies and were ruthlessly slaughtered. Obama’s website says he will make “a sustained push—working with Israelis and Palestinians—to achieve the goal of two states…” Not too many years ago Israel pretty much offered to give up the farm so to speak, in order to have peace with the Palestinians. The Palestinians rejected every offer! They do not want peace—they want the destruction of Israel. We don’t have to guess about this. This is what they say openly! Obama is living in a dangerous fantasy land. Ostrich politics! Obama’s web site says, “Obama believes that we must talk openly about nuclear weapons – because the best way to keep America safe is not to threaten terrorists with nuclear weapons, it's to keep nuclear weapons away from terrorists.” Hmmm, why hasn’t anyone else ever thought about keeping nuclear weapons away from terrorists? But what a good plan Obama has! If we just “talk openly about nuclear weapons” and stop threatening terrorists, everything will be OK. Ostrich politics! Obama’s web site says that “Obama will crack down on nuclear proliferation by strengthening the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty so that countries like North Korea and Iran that break the rules will automatically face strong international sanctions. Hmmm, good idea. Sanctions certainly kept North Korea from getting Nuclear weapons….oh, wait. Bad example! They now have nuclear weapons! Ostrich politics! There are several things about this list that some Obama supporters don’t seem to understand. First, the government doesn’t pay for all of this. It comes out of YOUR paycheck! Second, these programs are not like funding the Iraq war. When the war is over, the funding stops. Obama sticks his head in the sand and ignores the fact that once government entitlement programs get established, they are never over. They just get bigger and bigger and more and more expensive—and often, more and more riddled with government bureaucratic bungling and corruption! Obama sticks his head in the sand and ignores the fact that government often messes up just about every program it touches. Third, make no mistake about it, what government funds, government controls so we are giving up more and more of our freedom to the nanny state. While other countries are discovering that socialism/communism doesn’t work, Obama sticks his head in the sand and ignores this reality on his way to making America socialist! Fourth, Obama seems to be promising everything to everyone in order to get elected. He sticks his head in the sand and is either too naive or too deceptive to acknowledge the fact that there is no way he could deliver on all this--not even if his Congress was controlled by Democrats! Ostrich politics! Finally, Obama’s website says he will stop the development of nuclear weapons and “will set a goal of a world without nuclear weapons, and pursue it.” What a great idea! I’m wondering, though. When we think all the nuclear weapons have been destroyed, including ours, what happens when we discover that the bad guys were able to conceal five or ten of theirs? I am trying to discover if you have to declare to vote. Everyone that I know wants to vote for Hilly since Mcain has it sown up on the other side, eventhough most can't stand her. We have come to the conclusion that Mcain is bad, Hilly is worse, Obama is a disaster. We are basically going to vote to eliminate the disaster from the mix, then hold our noses in the general election and vote for bad or worse. I am hoping we are a winner take all state, (I really don't know to tell you the truth) and we can push Hilly through. I am hearing we are worth 78 delegates, and that would be a good thing right now. (along with a few other states) If not, you will not be a happy person if the democrat gets elected. You want bigger government..........extremely bigger government? Well, if Indiana and a few other states can NOT stop Obama and he gets in the general election, if he wins the Presidency, RP in a dictatorship enviroment could not roll back what will happen. All you need do is look at what he wants to do, will have the tacit support of a dem congress, and you will be one unhappy former RP supporter. If you want an unknown quantity, an unknown quantity who was voted the MOST LIBERAL member of congress, a person whos own website tells you how he is going to spend YOUR MONEY..........your money that he will obviously have to raise taxes out of sight on, not to mention make these programs PART OF THE AMERICAN FABRIC, meaning you won't be able to roll them back; then my friend you better get your fingers moving in support of Hilly or Mcain. What can we expect with a McLame presidency? More money wasted on a war that will never be won, perhaps an expansion of the war into Iran, and a subsequent weaker dollar. $6/gallon gas anyone? If you like what Bush did, you will love what John McCain will do. John McCain is a vulger, womanizing, liar and he is the last person I would vote for.
