(DTP production manager) ...i was told last friday they escorted him out thru security w/a box in his hand. What like we are not buildin trucks in Sept?? The way this company is cutting itself to profitability where do they think they will find all the talent if/when things improve? Stupidity. Looks like a sure way to keep your job if you are salarid is to practice the art of total incompetance. We had a very fine ME in paint that was let go. He is to be replaced by pretty much the opposite. Cronyism and nepotism is still alive and well. I really feel for you salaried folk, especially the few who still care about this great Company. I heard there are three or possibly four that will get the bad news on 7/21 in the bodyshop. Ben Armstrong and John McShane are going to Wayne. That will be a big loss for us in Body. I hate to hear that anyone loses a good supervisor but when it happens at DTP and exp. when they transferred from the old DAP it sucks!!! I always said if you can survive thru the DAP, you can survive anything!! But to combine bad supervision and the hard work that everyone does on the line at DTP my heart goes out to all of you.
