I have never heard anything to indicate that, all plans are that it will stay around for a few more years and I've not been told to the contrary from official sources. I just hope Ford NA does for the CV what Ford Australia has done to the Falcon.....Constant evolution over 46 years. This is the way motor companies and loyal buyers support each other. St Thomas needs the spark of an all new body like the 427 concept for the CV's BOF set up. This would continue the versatility of the CV and add the opportunity of a high spec upper model that could carry such goodies as blade control IRS, 6 speed auto and 5.4 4V a la GT Falcon. The CVPI with the 3.27 gearing was equally matched to the V-6 Charger. The Impala is pretty much blown away by all the competition. The second fastest police vehicle in acceleration tests? (after the hemi Charger) Are you ready for THIS?? the Ford Explorer!!! I was told the 'Hurricane' was a truck engine project. The word that worries me is 'Hemi'.
