chiefstang
Fuck you and you drive a 93 SLO. As for the price thing whoever thought you see the day of a 40K GT Mustang? (thou i won't have a heavy, expensive glass roof on my car) but i say again Ford had done thier homework on the Mustang. The glass roof is twelve pounds heavier than the metal one. Keep failing. Already dropping "fuck you's" huh? What were youy driving in '93? And what desireable cars do you own now, champ? I'd take an SHO anyday... atvman
And you fail at pronunciations. Now the price thing everyone is bitchin at im basing that off the MT compro were the GT was 4 grand more then the SS (BTW drivabilty the MT staff really like the Challenger over the other 2), now if the GT is the same price then the SS Ford done thier homework. Just wondering how the GT in one model year gained 200 lbs and up to 5G's on the price tag with no exterior changes?. That's an inaccurate way to determine the cost of two cars, the level of equipment was much different in both cars. When comparably equipped, the Mustang and Camaro are less than a thousand bucks different in cost, that is a fact. Also, the Mustang did not gain 200lb or $5K in price from last year. The 2010 GT weight in the mid 3500s no matter how it was equipped, the new one weighs a bit over 3600lb. The 2011 Mustang is $1-2K more expensive than the 2010 model, but it is also thoroughly upgraded as well. FYI - The Camaro SS and Challenger R/T can both easily crest $40K as well. I'm cool with it if you don't like the Mustang or just prefer the Camaro, but don't lie or post half-truths.
Fgts
Already dropping "fuck you's" huh? What were youy driving in '93? And what desireable cars do you own now, champ? I'd take an SHO anyday... I was too young to drive in 93'. I had an Escort GT, a Probe GT turbo, a T-bird SC and a have 90 SHO (modded a bit) along with my truck. Going to sell the SHO for another SC or a Probe GT turbo. With a name like F GTs, its pretty obvious you are butt hurt that the Mustang has outclassed your Camaro. Go back to admiring the "coolness" of your mullet. What you want is a turbo coupe. Edited April 11, 2010 by theDuff
chiefstang
T-bird SC's are junk. What you want is a turbo coupe. My father had an SC T-Bird. I loved that car. It would run with a stock 5.0, and be comfortable as hell. There was an active camber/castor adjustment system on the car that was pretty high-tech for it's day. The suspension and steering would tighten up when driven hard, or via a switch on the center console. When cruising, it would soften up and glide along on the highway for hours, getting decent mileage all the long.... Miss that car.
J-150
The Camaro ss is 4-8 grand cheaper then the 11 Stang also the Camaro is a fresh face with style and the Mustang is still a Mustang. the Mustang has never been cancelled due to low sales. What is the price of a Civic versus 30 years ago. Wake the f*** up. The question of Mustang over Camaro isn't a fanboy issue. It's just a better car.
