Versa-Tech
However, German electronics are becoming what British electrics were: a standing joke. Or what italian electronics were, are, and always will be. Case in point: The FIA implements Hybrid-Electric KERS into F1's formula for the 2009 season. After much testing, Ferrari decides to go without it. It was the first time in F1 history that Ferrari had (and has) ever opted out of an emerging formula. It was also Ferrari's worst season in decades.
