Buzzforbrains
Says No Phone on my 2008. You need to buy and install Ford's Mobile Ease hands free system which is $400 or so. Not worth it. scholzee
You could try reading the owner's manual and/or Sync (there's a clue) supplement. From owners manual 2. (Phone / mute): Press to mute the playing media. Press again to return to the playing media. When I press it the display says no phone and the volume does not change, Thanks for you help and if you have not noticed the manual is not very helpful I could quote multiple problems with it. Buzzforbrains
That is from the 2007. I guess they never revised the manual. My 2007 muted the radio.
rscalzo
You could try reading the owner's manual and/or Sync (there's a clue) supplement. Good trick. Sync didn't come in until the 09 model year.
