crownvicsparky Posted February 4, 2011 Share Posted February 4, 2011 Mine showed up at the dealership last Friday. I pick it up after work today. I test drove it on Monday. I have to agree with some of the comments on here about the turbo lag, but when does kick in it goes. They found a small scratch on the bottom of the back corner. I also had the dealer put a few extras on it. Rides and handles like a dream. It purrs so quiet you can barely here the engine run. Very quiet inside the cab, very little road noise. I've also seen some pics of the plate on an Ecoboost and their pretty ugly in my opinion. I''ve gone without a front plate on my Accord going on 3 yrs and haven't been pulled over yet. heretic897 Posted February 14, 2011 Share Posted February 14, 2011 I've got a ecoboost on order. Not too keen on the offset license plate either. Hoping a bird or something don't damage the intercooler. I haven't driven a ecoboost yet, but the 11's (5.0) has a "hockey smile) look about them with no intercooler in them (without a front license plate bracket). heretic897 Posted February 14, 2011 Share Posted February 14, 2011 I ordered mine on 1/29 and still no VIN, no build date, no status change...lost some time on the fact that apparently there was a space after my name when they entered the order and it kept kicking it out saying an incompatibility.
